Difficult to know which one will come out first by megatron logic is easier to finish!
Dream factory has to give a position which figure will come out first.
The numbers that are ready megatron roft, shockwave, resent would be megatron domt, bonecrusch they spoke only november or early 2018.
On SunSon facebook it is well known here in the forum on its said page.
Dream factory had no tools of megatron molds.

Offhand, coming from the MPM-04 pics announcement, I find it really peculiar how we're having all these 3P MP-scale/quality movie figs. How does 3P/Takara know enough about the other to coincide like this?! Is it the 3P's are made aware that Takara is working on MP movie stuff, or is it Takara getting news that 3P's are working on it and they decide to jump in and cut them off?

You gotta wonder...

 

I assume 3P just made some assumptions on size for the MPM toys. Or, if MPM Prime is the same or similar size to the ROTF Leader, its probably more likely that they just scaled them to match the leader.

I do not think he's a leader. I wanted to know why takara does not speak the size! Which mpm is still missing to be released?

From all angles, this thing is superior to Leader Prime. I see why people are concerned about the chest, but it is barely bigger on the MPM. As far as I'm concerned, as long as the height difference isn't outrageous, I'm selling my leader Prime and the jet pack to go with it.

 

Personally while it does look a bit better, it doesn't look vastly better to me. For it not having a backpack, I'd think the back of the figure woulda been much cleaner, which it's not from what I see so far. Rotf leader pegs everything in better imo but I will have to wait until we get more reviews.

Another that isn't vastly superior to me is the paint job. Looks more like DA-28 DOTM leader prime in color imo. Both Buster & Asia Striker have done the paint better.

Sure, I'll pick it up but no way am I selling any of my leader Primes. But I suppose that the market will be flooded with people that feel the same way as you ^ and that'll make the price drop for any that didn't wanna pay the higher prices for any of the better Takara versions, which ain't a bad thing.

 

The one thing that really made me a bit sad/annoyed with Leader Prime is how finicky the arm panels were when trying to pose him. They would get in the way and you'd have to slide the forearm panel up or down, or have to adjust the one by his bicep, the weird silver barrel thing by the shoulder and the shoulder panel in order to bend and contort his arm in a satisfactory pose.

Also, depending on which Leader you had (ROTF, Buster), you had to worry about that flip out sword or hooks getting in the way. Wait, was there a flip out hooks version of the Leader Prime mold? Anyway, I remember owning ROTF and Buster prime and the flip out swords in addition to those arm panels were the minuses for me. DOTM, Jetwing, and Striker were a bit of an improvement since no flip out weapon, but those arm panels... yeesh, it became annoying for such an amazing mold and likeness.

I do not see that with this MPM, and I'm so stoked. I told myself I would never buy another Bayformer figure again. This definitely is making me reverse that decision. I might get Bee as well since he's just as iconic.  

 

I never had an issue with the flip out blades and I actually prefer them. Its a cool gimmick. My buster is misb but I use the regular rotf leader with the Jetfire add on kit. Asia Striker doesn't have em unfortunately. I was never a fan of the way the blades sit in his hands, it just looks stupid imo. They shoulda made em to peg in somewhere on the arms or just have em be swords like in DOTM.

 

So yeah, the MPM has the same size as the ROTF Leader.

I think that's my fault. I didn't mean it! I was just saying how weird it was that 3rd party and Takara somehow got the memo that it was time for awesome movie figures, and whether 3rd party started it first and Takara jumped on it or vice versa. The timing is impeccable!
