Has anyone had a package from them that never showed up? Are they reasonable? I ordered the KO Ironhide in November, shipped Nov 18, last scan was the next day of it leaving for Toronto. No new scans since. That was the beginning of the busy season so I understand that, but it's now nearing the end of Jan and nothing. DO they refund or send out replacements?
Contact them and find out. They might be able to get more insight into where your shipment is from the carrier since they were the ones who shipped it.
Hmm, they mention delays, but they should still be able to contact the carrier for an updated status.
Canada post has no scans on it. I can see one getting missed, but none, doesn't sound good. I'm patient so I will give it a bit more time
I like TF-Direct, but their shipping times are all over the map. Since they aren't shipping from a warehouse, but from the manufacturers in China, I've had stuff show up in two weeks and other stuff sit still in China for almost a month. I've never had something not show though. I'd see if there's anyway they can contact China Post for more info than the website gives.
Ask that dude who was flipping out from italy lol, I think he was waiting for like 6 iron hides and about to go postal on tf direct. He shut up so I'm assuming he eventually got them. You might have to wait for them to restock
I'm in the exact same predicament as this. Been a month and a half now waiting for my package, i went ahead and opened a claim with PayPal which I have to either escalate or close on the 31st of January. Question is do I escalate the claim to try get my money back or keep faith in TF Direct that they will eventually come good and close the case? If I close the case and they don't come good I'm $100 out of pocket and can't re-claim or open another case?!
I would give TFDirect a chance to fix things. Going straight to paypal might seem like you're going over their heads
I kind of was going over their heads as I thought a month and a half was taking the piss. Is that enough time to fix things? But then you've been waiting since November!!
I bought a NECA figure on Ebay in Nov a little later than I did Ironhide, from China, and it's not yet here either, so I caution patience
Every time I've ordered from China and its taken a while the item never shows up and I've had to claim, this is why I'm not filled with enthusiasm for the current predicament!
I'm still waiting on an MP Inferno from NY and another item from an eBay seller in HK, both bought around the end of November. There are also others in the Cyberton.ca forums still waiting on their Inferno's as well. I think the November packages from Asia are still in limbo for a lot of people. I'm thinking that it is a customs issue, but I am not certain. I've bought things after this (late December) from Asia and they all made it within 2-3 weeks.
Well, I understand they are having problems with shipping... the sellers have started to be really dodgy. It's not cool.
Does everything come via container ship from China? In the fall I had stuff come via Vancouver on the west coast of Canada, but everything else of late is coming through Toronto. Maybe the ships are taking the long way around
My wife ordered the MP-27 KO ironhide for me for xmas from tf direct. She ordered it late so I wasn't expecting it to arrive until after the new year. Mid-January we checked the tracking and it still showed in China. She emailed them and got the response everyone else got, "it's been a busy season, but keep checking the tracking." By the end of January the package still had not moved. We emailed again asking for either a replacement or a refund. She was offered a $3 coupon and told the they were not responsible for the method of shipping. Now it's February and once again the tracking shows no movement. It has been 2 months and she finally asked for a straight out refund. Yet again they said that they are not responsible for the method of shipping and that she would have to contact paypal to get a refund as they could not help. I personally ordered once from tf direct before and had no issue. However, due to their lack of willingness to try and resolve the issue and rather rude and responses to my wife i will never order from them again, no matter how good the deal is.
It's funny that the very same day I went ahead and filed a formal complaint with Paypal was the day my package was shipped out made it to the United States and then to New York at yesterday night, and then to my Post Office this morning. I received it earlier today. Anyway, it was ordered on November 27 and accepted into their post office on November 28. After over two months, *nothing* until yesterday, when I filed a formal complaint in the morning.
