I ordered the KBB Thundercracker from tf-direct.com earlier this month. So far it has been returned to them by their postal service twice. They asked me to confirm my address and I did: the same address I've had several orders shipped to from them. Most recently I got the KO ironhide from them and I checked the address details on that order and they're identical. I assume they'll try shipping it again tomorrow but I'm afraid it'll just get returned again. When I look at the tracking site, it says order returned "due to vote." I assume something is mistranslating there. Has anybody else had this problem and did you have to take any steps to get around it? If anybody here happens to read Chinese better than Google translate does, this is what it said. 2016-12-27 08:54 佛山市, 退回 妥投
That is crazy... soon as I looked at this post, I got an E-mail from tf-direct saying my order of stuff was returned to their warehouse and is being reshipped . My guess it is a possible a customs issues on their side and have corrected; as they are mailing it back out without hesitation (i.e. they have figured out the problem). My proxy address is in the US of A. With Christmas holiday going on around the world, so shipping ports could of been overloaded or staffed incorrectly / badly that resulted in bad results. Also shipping trackers get nuts (and out of order) when things go off the tracks. I have faith tf-direct will take care of us.
Due to vote actually should translate to "delivered". As you can see here, where it ends, due to vote, means I signed for it and it's delivered.
佛山市, 退回 妥投 Foshan City, delivery unsuccessful. That's how it translates in Chinese. Foshan City is in Guangdong province, that's where tf-direct ships from? This usually means incorrect delivery address. My guess is tf-direct or China EMS messed up your address somehow. Maybe you can try an alternate address if you have one? Like a friend or something. Doesn't make sense tho, especially if this isn't the first time you're buying from them. My guess is China EMS is the one screwing up. Why not try calling them directly?
This might have to due with overseas shipping contracts. A couple of months ago I saw a news article (I believe on yahoo) that mentioned how Pacific shipping might get disrupted due to overseas shipping contract negotions between the companies and shipping fleets not passing, and that shipping for major carriers might drop to a crawl or a complete stop, just after Christmas or New Years. That would account for the "due to vote" you saw. Either way, good luck with it!
Thanks, everyone. Nice to know I'm not the only one. They shipped it out again last night. Hopefully it makes it this time.
