Prize is this, an exclusive Transformers figure set worth $300US that was available only to registered attendees at this years Botcon convention in Pasadena that I recently returned from. Pictures can be seen here on the official website [link] I only bought the set for the particular tickets and I'm glad I did as you can read my other journals on deviant art to see how much fun I had as it was a personal birthday present to myself. Now what to do with the set! Well before I went I already decided what I'd do and this is it. Competition is open to the end of June. Entries must consist of one full bodied drawing of any original (strictly no OC's) TF G1 character. Picture does not have to be brand new, feel free to submit an old one if you like. I would prefer that the picture be coloured and some effort put into it as the prize is rather expensive. Hand or digitally drawn pictures are welcome and must be your own work. Paintings of characters are also acceptable to a degree. No Banners or text, just art. The other problem is, even though I originally said on one of my past deviant art journals I would pay for shipping to whereever in the world, I was unaware of how heavy the item was at the time of originally posting the competition and therefore I may have to ask the winner to pay for shipping. Bear in mind that the item will be coming from Australia. Emailed entries can be sent or linked to me here at this forum. People may enter whether they are deviant art members or not as the competition is actually running from that site, so tell all your friends on the other forums you are members of. If and only if I get more than ten entries for the contest I will consider the competition still open at the end of the month and give this item away as a prize, but if not I will consider selling the set off on ebay or to anyone who wants it. And if I get more than 20 entries I may consider other prizes, perhaps cash ones. Competition officially open from the 1st of June 2009.
I guess a reason why it'll have to be a damn good entry to impress me, as I'm the one judging it and I don't impress easily. I don't really want the set so I had to do something with it and so a competition was the first thing that came to mind.
