    TF AOE should've been longer

    Here's why...

Ya even tho the dinobots had nice fight time there should've been maybe 5 more mins of Dino action.

It should've showed what happened after prime left...just a tiny bit.

EDIT: 2hrs and 45 mins without credits.

Now you're just starting an uprising towards the critics.

Three hours is just way too long for a lot of people, myself included. I know there are people who can sit through a three or four hour movie, but I am not one of them. Most recent example I can think of is Dark Knight- I ADORED that movie, but there were a few points where I was asking myself "is this gonna be done soon?" And it's ten minutes shorter than AOE.

I don't agree with the critics on much, but I think the running time definitely is going to be an issue for me when I watch it this weekend.

I'll wait and see when I see it tommorow to judge if the run time is just too damn much.

He isn't but he does have a point, ultimately tie up loose ends.

As Optimus is flying through space he contemplates the future showing:-

*Cade working in his new job/Tessa in college snogging Lucky charms (Like we're bothered)

    *Joshua scrapping all Transformer prototypes

*Public view thanking the Autobots / uncovering of Attinger conspiracy

    *Dinbots in wildlife

There isn't either a cliffhanger, these films drag so much but the ending is always rushed.

To be honest, I hate long movies no matter how good they are. At a certain point I start to get bored and want the story to move along a little faster.

Also, call me bat shit crazy, but I hate the Dinobots. I couldn't care less how much screen time or personality they get in any continuity.

No it shouldn't of. They should of cut some scenes out if they wanted more Grimlock time.

No It was just an idea of ending the movie.

As soon as the battle ends, that's pretty much the film over which I found very flat. Ending it with a couple of quick scenes with a cliffhanger would be much better.

It's like going to a restaurant. Ordering a starter and main meal, but no dessert.

As much as I loved this film, I think it's long enough and does NOT need to be longer.

^^ Agreed, it was long enough, some parts were dragged out, like dialogue between humans, and not enough fighting between Dinobots and Decepticons. ^^

I agree!!!! It should have been longer!! It should have been 2h45min plus credits, and it should have had an after credits scene, that's what we were waiting for!!

People that think it should have been 2h20mins long; I don't know what movie you saw, AOE was very exciting and it did not get boring. It had the best script in the franchise and it kept the viewer interested at all times.

The Wolf of Wall Street, an excellent film and nominated for five Oscars, was 3 hours long. And it was not a second too long nor a second too short. It was perfect. And the second time I saw it theaters it seemed like 5 hours long!!!! And it did not bother me! So stop complaining about the lenght of AOE!!

IMO, they should have cut 30 mins out of the human element and put that towards Lockdown or Dinobots. Then the runtime wouldn't have felt so long.

Movie's too long as is. You don't add to the already excessive run time for subplots you cut out the ones that don't matter if you want to expand on one in particular

4 or 5 if you ask me, I could sit there all day just watching the bots eating, hanging out, threatening each other, I'll take it all!

I thought the run time was fine, but would've preferred reduced scenes featuring the squishy meatbags and more hardcore robot on robot action.
