Really good quality, overall. The hook on the weapon will pop out if you open it up too far, but that's really not that bad of an issue. I forgot to mention too that the matte paintjob is really nice. I don't know if it's the final paintjob, though, since this was a loose test shot.

That's awesome. Thanks for sharing your review with us. Especially for the comparison pictures with other figures. It's nice to see how big of a Deluxe he is. I'm thinking that the matte finish should be the final production version. The only difference between this, and the first pictures we saw of him, would be the rub symbol that was on his chest has been replaced with a normal symbol. Here's hoping for some more reviews of Animated figures.

As I said yesterday upon viewing his bio, I now must say again....I thought I couldn't want this guy more.

I swear, if I can find him at a decent enough price..I may bite and pick up an early leak of him or something..I want this figure so very bad.

his head reminds me of Apocalypse from X Men.

he looks cool. 1 quick question, are his upper legs able to move forwards and back?

Looks to be a great figure. Looks like he has a Spawn thing going on with his chest, what with the "M" shape. Totally going buy this one.

Not quite sure what you mean. If you mean the parts with the lime green on them, yes, they fold in more. I mistransformed Lockdown in my original pics. I have a picture of the corrected transformation on Page 2.

The Screamer/Cracker mold is a pretty big voyager, to boot. Lockdown looks pretty damn awesome, I have to say.

A lot of these animated molds show a lot of creativity of design... it's exciting to see.

I know. I originally made some comments about how this would be a terrible series, the death of Transformers, etc., etc.
The SDCC and Botcon preview stuff completely changed my mind though, and Lockdown alone makes me want to watch every episode just to see him pwn the Autobots.

Ditto. When the first full poster came out, I hated it.

Now I think it's the greatest thing ever! TF movie? What TF movie? G1? What's that?:)

Thanks for the review man. I think Eric from the TFCC Mag did state that Lockdown was special because he was a deluxe that turned into a Voyager size fig. Overall, I'm looking forward to this fig and hearing Lance Henrikson's voice outta this design!

Just can't get interested in this one. I like the car mode but hate the robot mode. More for you guys.
