I wouldn't mind some of the movie taking place there, but if the whole movie did it would nothing but a CG film and would lose some of the magic IMO.
I was thinking something like dual plot. A confrontation on earth and confrontation on Cybertron. Shockwave would leading the battle on Cybertron.
And the Ewoks would defeat the Decepticons on Cybertron, enabling the Autobots to deactivate the shield generator...
That would be perfect to introduce the Dino-Bots. I'm not a D-Bot fan but they would be way to introduce them. Let's say there is two different confrontations, one on Earth and one on Cybertron. Rodimus or Prowl could lead the Cybertron Faction along with the Arielbots and the Dino-Bots. The D-Bots can keep their protoforms.
unicron arrives on cybertron sucks it up then comes to earth and takes a big cybertronian dump on north america. he then flys up to space and uses the sun to set the crap on fire. finnally an end to the movieverse.
I vote for a final battle taking place in Cybertron. Even bring Sam there for the heck of it. Give him a cyber-suit like Spike in the 86 film, and get him in on the action. Most of the movie should remain on Earth. Too many CGI environments ruin the realism. Just look at the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
Agree. CGI will be to much. You think a dual confrontation, one on Earth and one Cybertron would make sense?
C/S. Then there wouldn't be any complaints about their earth modes from the fans. They could still have their some kind of dinosaur/Cybertron creature mode.
That would definately up the ante for movie three. If TF3 will be the final film of a trilogy, it would have to have some kind of resolve regarding a dying cybertron. Sooo.... I wouldn't be surprised to see more of it in the future.
I think a dual confrontations would make the most sense. More action and better yet more characters. Also Dino-Bots could fit in this setting perfectly.
