I’m a little fearful for the MPM line. Doesn’t seem to be selling very well but we still have so many characters left. We still have 3 to complete Movie one alone. Really hoping they don’t give up after Ratchet.

wave 2 was hitting austin/rr/CP targets in early october till last week. I think they've moved on to wv 3, which just landed this week. walmart may be getting wv 2 though, but I haven't been checking them as much.

Found and took the only MPM Megatron from Westoaks Ross. Normally I don't buy MPMs but I haven't had much luck finding Siege/Earthrise figures (only finding Siege Starscream) so I decided to buy one to see what the fuss is about.

Westchase Target had a couple SS Shockwave and the unicycling red guy (don't remember the name, sorry).

all yall buying multiple clearanced mpm's of the same characters need to get lost. its pretty obvious what yall are doing. looking to make a quick buck scalping figures, putting major salt in the game. why not give a real collector a shot at one. take your greed elsewhere. this is a sightings thread. buzz off already.

Picked up a lone MPM Megatron at the Oak Forest Ross on Ella and W 43rd. Ross across from Willowbrook Mall, the one next to Bedrock City Comics on 1960, and the one on West Rd across from Walmart had zero MPMs. But all did have the Black Series SW Riot Baton from the Force Awakens for $45.

Last day for Target BOGO! Cedar Hill Target said it had 10 war for cybertron deluxes but they sure weren't on the shelves. Only notables I saw were SS Blitzwing, SS Soundwave another Earthrise Skylynx and the same three shelfwarming Astrotrains.

Like I said, I’m not a scalper. I don’t sell anything for a profit. I like to have one in bot mode, one in alt mode and since it’s SS and he’s my favorite character I have another one for a different display. I also have 2 of the Leader Class figures. Does that make me a scalper? I’m with you my man, I wouldn’t buy any more than I need unless others needed them but stop pointing fingers at people you don’t know. These figures were easy to get, they were in shelves for a while.

It would actually be quite cool to use a thread (not necessarily this one) to organize buying groups, maybe such thing even exists already. I mean where we report "I bought 3 MPM and have them for sale locally for the Ross price", it is a treasure hunt, if we "unite" against Ross we win :)  "till all have one"

Houston and Dallas are too big. And there are too many people and not enough toys. And it's a thankless task. Back in the days people trying to organize large group preorders from Japan to save on shipping only happened a few times because of the hassle.

Lots of Megs and Ironhide being scalped on Facebook Marketplace. No MPM Starscreams. What’s Ross return window? I just don’t see people paying $100 for an MPM Megatron

correct. I bought him a year ago for 80 brand new. So I don't see people getting those kinds of numbers. Again, I have concerns about the future for the MPM line because multiple releases have ended up in deep discount over the years. I'll be very curious to see if there's more now that the first movie is complete.

I agree the whole town is too much. I was mostly suggesting to allow those who raid the same 3/4 ross around a reasonable area can share data and hauls. Could be a trouble as well I don't disagree

Why TF is it so hard to buy toys nowadays? Is it because Toys R Us went out of business and the current department stores just can't meet demand?

I mean, nevermind Covid-19 which only makes it harder, because I feel this was a problem even before that.

And for what it's worth, The Walmart off of Frankford and Marsh Ln in Dallas has plenty of Hoists and not much else.
