I feel that the earthrise seeker set will be easier to get. First it’s going to be at brick and mortar, so wide spread unlike siege Skywarp. Second it is less expensive and smaller than the rainmaker set, more may come in a case and the stores might want to stock more. Third if I am correct it will be the only target exclusive at the time. The rainmaker set competed with the Micromaster set and (if memory serves) a few cyberverse exclusives as well and leftover bumblebee movie exclusives in some stores.

 

On a return trip from the doctors office, I finally found a Scrapface at the Walmart near Sam Houston and Bissonnet, yesssss! Needless to say, that was the only one they had. There was also the rest of the Netflix deluxe, one SS Scavenger, Earthrise Astrotrain, and maybe a few others I didn't bother checking too carefully.

 

The Houston Westheimer store is currently showing Limited Stock. I've checked throughout the morning and this is the first time seeing it.

Its a shady store. I went there for the Carbonized Mando, the website said 6 in stock. I got there around 10am, website still says 6 in stock. Asked an employee who was stocking in the toy section. He said the box was still on the truck, and to come back in about an hour. I see no other customers around the toy section.
I come back about 50minutes later, don't see that employee, so asked a different employee and he said they sold out. Again I see no other customers in the toy section. The website still says 6 in stock.

Lafayette N in Lousiana has been showing In Stock all morning, about a 3-4hr drive away.

I just stopped by the Rosenberg store after getting off work. They did not have the endcap display setup. They had 1 Optimus, 1 Astrotrain, 2 Starcreams, 5 Grapples.

got up early and was the first person in the store out in katy this morning. as I was waiting on an employee, another collector showed up for the same set. long story short, scored the seekers! what a relief. if u dont see them on the shelf, an employee can fetch them from the back.

grats, was that the Cinco Ranch store? at 700am the website showed "Limited Stock" how many did they have when you got there?

 

Target NW austin on lakeline just put out the seeker 2 pack. 2 left.

 

Katy West (which is the Cinco Ranch one) now shows "Out of Stock" whereas the Katy one (off of Fry Rd and I-10) shows Not Sold Here, wonder if the "Not Sold Here" stores won't be getting stocks yet. Bummer at 7AM many Houston area stores show in stock..I seem to miss it. But given that we are finding Starscreams (which show "Sold Out" with no store option) are in stock at alot of Targets, I am hopeful that these will flood the Targets in the coming weeks... I hope!

 

same here I noticed the "Limited Inventory" at around 6am.

correct, it was the Katy West (cinco ranch) store in katy on Westheimer & 99.

at 8am they had 3 sets available. I got two, and the other guy got one.

 

I hit the North Tomball Target and they had the TF endcap with the tags but did not have the seekers or clones out. I did not get anyone to check the back though.

 

i had to ask this morning. the inventory checker says they have em at N Tomball. since they show in stock I would ask. it only took the employee like 2 minutes to fetch them for me.. didnt take long..

 

No San Antonio sightings?  

 

I was told by a worker that the website has the exact same information that they have at the stores, and it hasn't shown any in stock anywhere in San Antonio. The store that I had been at told me that they didn't even have space set aside for the Seeker set, yet, so it'll probably be another week, at least.

 

Website showed limited stock at the Arboretum/Gateway Target in Austin. There were none on the shelf so I asked a guy and he went a fished out the case from the back. Bought one and he put the other two on the endcap. There are a handful of other Targets in Austin with similar status on their website and/or Brickseek, so it's worth flagging somebody down if you don't see them on the shelf.

 

I checked my closest Target on Thursday, the one on SE Military. I saw the new endcap with Siege figures, and the $59.99 sticker for the Seeker Two-Pack. An Employee I asked checked & said they hadn't yet received any, but to check over the weekend. I've been busy & can't go on repeated fruitless hunting as much as I used to. It's a First-World problem I know, but it IS annoying.
