Man, I'm glad I found a MP-10 early. Saves me the consternation you guys are going through, plus around $30-40.

Picked up 4/5 of Bruticus last night at Target Watauga. When I saw eight figures on the pegs with Blast-Off in front, I thought they'd have the whole set, but, alas, the last one was a second Optimus.

Curses to whoever came along and just grabbed Brawl. Now I'll get to pay the favor forward by grabbing another set's Brawl sometime. I doubt it will matter, I suspect we'll see plenty of them in the coming weeks. Looks to me like its going to be one of Hasbro's major TF pushes of the season. Only concern will be if they can get Op/Jazz/Shockwaves off the pegs fast enough to keep room open.

 

Hey guys here's my yearly reminder to do your part against shelfwarmers. Toys for Tots has geared up and if any of you can put a Transformer in that box please do. Every year I put several Optimus Primes in those boxes because I remember when I was a kid and never got that one Transformer I always wanted. For all of our complaints about Bumblebees clogging the shelves there are some kids who would be more than happy to get that little bot. Let's share some of that joy guys.

Is the MP prime eligible for the 20% online discount of $125 or more. I can't get it to work.

 

Nevermind. Its not. I placed a couple more items in the cart and it shows the promotion below for those but not the optimus.

Different question, I have never shipped from TRU. Is it better for in store pick up or shipping to home. I am more concerned about condition of packing.

 

Everything I've had shipped from TRU was about the same as HTS - it's nowhere near the likes of TF Source or BBTS, but everything's been intact. They tend to use whatever they can find laying around, it may or may not have packing material in the box, or they may bend cards to get them to fit in the box. I've never had TRU's shipments get destroyed, but I wouldn't use it if the condition of the original package is important.

Speaking of which, I received my BBTS shipment today of FE prime, bulkhead and the 4 deluxes and 3 of the 4 bubbles have dents. I know I am not getting the collectors upgrade but it seems like my last few items from them have had some kind of imperfections. Its not their packaging, its more of their selection. Anyway I just said it wasn't too important but sometimes I like to have the option of whether I want to open something or display it.

 

There were two FE Vehicons at the TRU in Frisco. I know some of you guys were still hunting those.

 

just found onslaught, swindle, and vortex from foc at the target on ware and nolana in mcallen. they only had the ones i bought. sorry to say but the quality of these figures just blows. they seem fit more for dollar general toys. i don't know if i'll buy the other two because of this. question: why does swindle have two hands on his feet?
