I just picked up a Terrorsaur on clearance at Target. He's a little loose overall, but his outer wings in particular keep popping off.
I looked through my parts box and I had two rivets that were the perfect size to wedge into the middle of the flanges that hold the wing bits on. Now they stay put nicely. A little paint and they blend right in.
To get the paint to stick, I sanded the heads of the rivets throughly and then sealed the paint with a Krylon gloss clear.
I also did a little light sanding on the parts at the base of the wings so they fit together better.
I'm definitely going to need to tighten up his thigh swivels, since they are particularly loose. I'll most likely use a little clear acrylic paint on the joints. I always used to use CA glue to tighten joints, but I'm a little more cautious these days. lol

speaking from personal experience. if you aren't carful enough, you run risk of permanently seizing up a joint when using glue to tighten up a joint.

I’ve been using super/Krazy glue since the 80s, so I’m well aware of that problem:D . I was curious if there was some sort of health reasons or something

Like he said. There's a risk of damaging the figure. Krazy Glue was my standard for years, but every now and then it can go sideways on you.
The fumes definitely aren't good for you, but as long as there's some ventilation it's usually OK.
    Also- Thanks!

Yep. I've gotten it right dozens of times but there are a few notable times it hasn't.

My favorite-aside from accidentally gluing things together- is when I have glue on my fingers, and touch the toy and get glue and fingerprints all over it and ruin the paintjobs

I ended up using glue anyway. The ball joints in the ankles were too loose for paint and I couldn't find my clear nail polish. He's standing a lot better now. Loose ankles and an entire pterodactyl on his back are a bad combination.

cool idea . i dont have a reason to fix my copy like that. i was 1 of the few lucky ones that didnt have that problem .i had a different problem my copy had some extra flashing forcing the wing off. i pried it up and cut it off popped it on and not a problem since.
