    Ok.. Which Optimus is referred to as "Bendy Prime"

    And what is a C.H.U.G. ? Seems to be the latest fad in customizers, labeling something as CHUG. Labels irritate me, but I'd like to at least know what they're getting at.

    Thanks,
    Mathius

    "Bendy Prime" = Deluxe Armada Prime.

    C.H.U.G = Classics/Henkei/Universe/Generations.

    What is the reason for Armada prime to be called Bendy Prime?

    I could never help but notice that Sparkplug comes out of his arse when he transforms from alt mode, YouTube - ‪Stop Motion Transformers: Optimus Prime (Armada)‬‎ (20 second'ish)

    and he looks like a monkey when he goes into super mode in the 'toon: YouTube - ‪Optimus Prime & Jetfire & Overload‬‎ (right about the 8 second mark)

    He's called "Bendy" Prime because of his amazing articulation.

    As far as Sparkplug goes, well he doesn't come with the Deluxe Armada Prime.

    And no, he's not related to Bender from Futurama.

    To clarify; he had amazing articulation for the time. Honestly by today's standards; any number of TFs completely blow him out of the water. It's just that Armada was so full of bricks and limited joint use that he seemed practically Revoltech-ish by comparison.

    Deluxe, or "Super-Con" at the time, Armada Prime. The one that came with the rifle/jet Mini-Con and not the trailer.
    "CHUG" is what I do with beer and has nothing to do with the toys I buy, or the aesthetic of the custom figures I make.

    Yeah, I hate the term too.

    I was actually disappointed when I bought him back then. I heard so much great stuff about him, saw people taking cool pics... and then I got him, and he was less pose-able than the average BW figure. Yes, he was better than the average Armada toy, but didn't match up to what came immediately before Armada. I think people were just impressed that he was a pose-able vehicle (and wasn't all skeletal, like the RiD Car Bros with their BWN aesthetic), but honestly, he still wasn't as good as RiD Prime, Scourge, or Rail Racer, who were also vehicles. Thankfully, we've advanced a lot since then.

    Man, I was wondering that for the longest time. I kept thinking it was Classics/HUnt for the decepitcons/Generations or something wrong like that. Makes much more sense now, all inclusive term for updated G1 stuff.
