If anyone is still looking for kingdom red alert, the Lebanon Walgreens on main/Hartman has two in store as does the one on Adams

 

Walgreens on N. State of Franklin Road in Johnson City has two Minerva's.

 

Found one in Maryville tonight. Went to the local Walgreens to get Sprite, and there was only one. No Red Alert.

 

Some of the Walmarts have a new mod sheet up which still lists velocitron deluxes, so maybe a backstock Cosmos might float through, maybe.

None of the 5 Knox area Walgreens I checked had Minerva.

The Knoxville Burlington coat factory did have 1 of the reported shattered glass Optimus super cyborg figures. Decided against it even for $35 but it was still there yesterday evening if anyone is after it.

Still looking for Cosmos, Minerva, and Galaxy Shuttle predominantly. Less worried about Leo and Tarn since they will have a wider net, but boy howdy does it feel like distribution is particularly bad these days; even accounting for the post Christmas slump retail gets.

Edit: I should mention, a new toy store opened up literally yesterday in an odd part of Knox. It’s called Utopia Toys and Models. They don’t have much TF, and the store isn’t fully open yet but they have the most stock I’ve ever seen in a store of that style around here. Might be worth checking out if you collect GI Joe or Gundam or some other such thing.

I say odd part because they are in a business office. Not a strip store front or standalone building. Owner does convention circuits and rented a sale space so that it wasn’t all just sitting in storage, so it feels pretty warehouse-y in there.

They said they are looking to officially open in about two weeks. Considering we just lost Dorkside toys in the state I feel like it’d be a shame not to at least give them a chance.

 

I stopped at 2 Walgreen's on Broadway tonight near closing time. One in Fountain City, the other closer to downtown near the "Felini Kroger".

Both had several Red Alerts, like 6. The Fountain City location had one Minerva which I got. She's in the area! The Japanese continuity shelf grows further.

 

Just wondering if anyone in the Knoxville area has seen Jhiaxus on the discount aisle anywhere? I don't like this variation of him, but I have his other figures and want to complete the set.

Talking to John the owner of Utopia Toys and Models yesterday he said he can get Transformers but the markup on them would be more than most retail cause it will cost him more to get them from his distributor than say Walmart or Target but he is willing to order them for anyone if you want

Target in Maryville had 2 Lio' s last night. I got the only Tarn.

Finally found a Cosmos at OR Walmart yesterday; only had one case and the poor boy has a floppy arm but got is got. Was spot on about the mod sheets leading to a restock. Didn’t see anything else while I was out. Still on the lookout for Galaxy Shuttle. Hopefully when the RotB movie toys push stock he’ll float out with them.

 

Target in mount Juliet had rumble (snatched him) for $8.49. They have laser beak (the bumblebee repaint ) and 2x wheelie also for that price.
