Mt. Juliet has/had the windblade wave. I picked up a set on Saturday night

 

Hamilton place TRU had 3 of those RC Squeeks, 1 leader class megatron, and that dragon storm whatever thing that lights up

 

Knox TRU has one Velocitron set, 2 Trypticons, 1 each of Deluxe Megatron and Skullitron, and 1 Leader Optimus.

 

There's one Misfire left at Nashville West Target. It's on the endcap facing electronics. I already got them to pull what they had in back, too.

 

And just hit White Bridge. Windblade, Misfire, a Sky Shadow, a Blitzwing, and 3 Octanes. Best I've found here in forever.

Make that 0 left at Knoxville TRU, (been saving up for him, another Christmas gift I never would have gotten as a kid) how's the hips on yours

to be honest I'm trying not to move them alot i may try an open them and see about trying the fix unless theirs a new version of him were they fixed them already

 

If its too stiff when i open I figured id shave the cross piece in the middle of the joint down a little to allow better travel of the ratchet piece up and down and start with removing something like a quarter of the spring...most tutorials said half, but I don't want to start there, in case it's too much

Or maybe see if I can locate a weaker spring

 

yeah i saw 3 ways to fix him first one was just remove the spring completely second was replace the spring third was the cut it in half and put cardboard in it

 

I recommend doing something with it before moving it around too much. I attached the hips and moved them once to get on Dino mode and his left hip shattered on me so now I gotta figure out how to replace it

 

Yep, tried to rotate it before assembly and couldn't budge it with comfortable force, gonna see if I can find a weaker spring somewhere before I cut the factory one

 

mine isn't too bad but I'm still going to do something with it but don't know what right now it's just in dino mode standing in from of my metroplex

 

This is what happened to my left hip piece of trypticon. Hasbro is getting a very long complaint today. Be wary when moving his legs.

 

Yep, looks like the others pics I saw, I sent customer service a polite (probably too polite) asking for a solution other than returning to the store. Mine is not broke yet as I haven't even used enough extreme force to rotate it and I really don't want to take it back as I probably won't find another....just like metroplex and fort max, I saw one in the store, waited and missed metro, and didn't make the mistake of waiting on Maximus.

 

One other thing I read in several places, and I might try before cutting the spring, is that it seems the tightness of the plus shaped post may be a majority of the issue for some units. And, that widening the tolerances on the grey, spring side, ratchet piece by filing the plus shaped hole wider, so that it frees up the in and out motion of the ratchet has made the hip system work better.

 

East Town Knox Target has one Leader Megatron, not much else.

 

Picked up the last twintwist at Spring Hill Target

 

Man. Feels good having all this new stuff show up everywhere at once after the last few months have been pretty garbage for distribution.

 

West town TRU has wave 3 TR deluxes, 2 TLK Megatron deluxes (don't think I saw any Skullitron), and that's pretty much it. Was hoping to maybe find RID Menasor but nope.
