Teenage mutant hitchhiking turtles......not as good a ring to it but that's the new slogan for mine. No way I am dropping that kind of cash on one item. Heck that's close to half a house payment for a month.

Don’t really have a horse in the race because I was never going to buy a Turtle Party Wagon, but I think if I had to have one, I’d go with the third party option that was a little over $230. The Super7 one looks really nice, and I buy a lot of their figures, but personally, I couldn’t see myself spending $450 on their Party Wagon. Happy for the people who wanted it though.

Oof. TCP comes in at 579. I was going to use them for no tax and free shipping but that is nullified at that price.

Man… I preordered the 3rd TMNT party van But the Super7 van looks pretty nice too. The price seems absurd, I wonder what the profit margins are….

:D  sounds like a SNL skit or a Robot Chicken epi

I think I'm more shocked that people are sticker priced shock, like we are talking about the group that are offering 5x Mousers for $55? Now that's sticker shocko_O

    Looks cool.

Would never pay $500 for a 1:12 vehicle (I paid less for the 1:6 89 Batmobile from Hot Toys) but cool it exists for those who wish to buy it.

Ugh, that really puts it in perspective... because I remember looking at that Batmobile and thinking "woo, too rich for my blood!" And yet here I am considering this just because I already own the figures that go with it. Hmmm.

My bad on the chair price, I was thinking same as a figure.

I actually agree that a boutique item with lower production is going to naturally be more expensive. I think it's a question of degree. To me, S7 pushes the price envelope on everything, and on some things, by what I consider an unreasonable margin compared to other boutique producers. Subjective, I know.

Interesting to note - they changed the belt on Leo to be all black in these pics. I wonder if that's a sign of a running change for the reissue.

This looks really cool but I'm out as I haven't been collecting the S7 Turtles. I'm definitely curious about the 3rd party toon van vs. Neca's though (if the latter ever gets formally revealed).

An extra $150 you have a Haslab Unicron pre-second market.

It just isn't adding up for me.

I’d have to look at my history but the Hot Toys Tumbler was around that price as well.

Its not 1:12 though, S7 ultimates are 7" scale, so like 1:10.

I don't think the HasLab Skystriker is any larger than the previous 2 versions, so it's only 23" long. Meanwhile, the Big Millennium Falcon (that isn't a picture of the BNF, but he probably couldn't find a top-down picture of the actual toy on the web) is 33" long. And the Razor Crest is 30" long. The Skystriker in that picture is almost as long as both and that isn't right.

Collecting anything in general is subjective. It's based on your own feelings towards something, how badly you want it, and if you feel the price tag is justified. As awesome as this is, I don't need it, want it, and I think it's too expensive. But that's just me.

The Hot Toys Batmobile was also released like 7 years ago. A regular Hot Toys figure probably costs 150% of what it did back then. The new Spider-Man figure retails for $285.

They made a shit ton more Unicrons than they'll make of this and Unicron was made by one of the biggest toy makers in the world?
