There was already 4 figures in this wave. The Mousers didn't take another figure's "slot." Lots of people were asking for them including me, so I'm glad they're doing a pack.

This is a wave of 5, though, so I figured the Mousers were just extra (aren't they usually waves of 4)?

Scratch is the first one they've made where I wasn't even aware of the vintage toy. My little brother must have missed that one.

Honestly I think Tragg's buddy Granitor or one of the two Punk Frogs that didn't get toys during the Playmates era would be more likely than more modern characters. Especially ones that actually showed up in the show. Don't get me wrong

Yes, I didn't see the pics of Scratch until just now. Didn't realize he was part of the wave. I thought it was just Slash, Ace, SS Mikey, and the Mouser pack. Note that I didn't mention Scratch at all in my comment.

Also, if you wanted a Mouser pack great. Glad you got what you want. I was just giving my personal opinion on the subject.

Yeah, I didn't realize that Scratch was part of the wave.

EE has them up for preorder. Says shipping July '22. And yeah, $55 for those mousers is not at all worth it.

Up on BBTS also. Just got my preorder in for Slash and Ace. No interest personally in Scratch, SS Mikey, or the Mouser set.

Anyone else feel like setting Ace Duck up against a bunch of the B-17 zombie pilots from "Heavy Metal"?

I'm in for the whole wave plus 3 additional Mouser Packs. Glad to have new Sai to replace the ones that came with Raph. I always use the Sai that are molded in silver plastic, because the silver painted ones are soft and warped. Now I won't have to compromise.

Ace Duck is a favorite of mine and they knocked him out of the park with the new head. Love Slash, too, but would have preferred a black belt version. Michelangelo is colorful, but in general, I would rather the sculpted-on creatures from the vintage line be omitted in the Ultimates line. I don't have a connection to Scratch at all and don't feel like he fits into the world, but he's not totally offensive to me. I'm just going to buy everything in this line.

Same. Seems like a bit of an oversight to not include both belts. That's my only complaint about him though. Looks phenomenal.

Scratch was an instant preorder for me. When I was a kid, I had found the original in package at a flea market though the parents passed on it. They told me we’ll encounter it again for a better price…. Never again saw one and the going prices certainly weren’t the $8 I had seen that one for….

Scratch came very late in the line, and had low production numbers because of it. He is THE tmnt grail piece for a lot of collectors, and I get why S7 included him.

I could not have pre-ordered Slash fast enough. That's one of my favorite toys from back in the day.

Ultimates Space Cadet Raph; Ultimates Deep Space Homer; Ultimates Sandy Cheeks. Just like Ultimates Mikey the Sewer Surfer; Ultimates Optimus Prime with Surf Board; Ultimates Poochie with Surf Board. It comes in 3's.

A 3rd one: Ultimates Captain Cracker with Polly the Parrot; Ultimates Captain Deadstar with Undead Parrot; (eventually) Ultimates Shipwreck with.... Polly the Parrot.

Slash, Ace, and Mousers for me. Slash will be the first one I didn’t have a toy of. Ace has a special place as I remember going to the store with my grandfather to pick him up.

    bring on undercover don!

Slash looks excellent, and he was at the top of my wants list. The alt head looks really good! I might even like it better than the original version.

Ace isn’t bad. I had him as a kid, but he always felt kind of bland. I wish they had a shot of him with his hat on to show how well it fits.

No interest in the alternate turtles, but those heads for Surfer Mikey are great. I’m keeping my expectations in line though, since his colors may not match the regular version.

I have no attachment to Scratch, but the head sculpt with him looking to the side looks pretty great. The whole figure seems to have a good sculpt overall with a ton of character, and I might be tempted.
