Donny maybe…need to see some more pics, though…. I have never been a MMPR fan myself. Edit: I found a pic of Donny on BBTS…my OCD says “buy”…haven’t heard from my brain yet…haha…
I don't think I have used the word "eww" since I was a kid, but it came out of my mouth in disgust when I saw the pictures of those things.
The TMNT/MMPR crossover figures are tempting, but I have a feeling I'm going into another rabbit hole.
Not too much of a rabbit hole with just three two-packs and a single release for Shredder. I’m not too sure I want these myself though. I like how they look but I don’t think they’re something I need. Might just get that Shredder.
Thats what you think, wait until they do Bulk and Skull bebop Rocksteady versions, April O'Neal Yellow ranger, Rita Repulsa Shredder, Splinter-Zordon and who knows what else if the line takes off.
No doubt the rage would be there, but entirely possible. as TMNT has a larger fanbase than PR. Of course, its hard to say right now who these figures would appeal to more, whether its turtle fans or PR fans.

Yeah, pre-ordered the Leo/Donnie two-pack as soon as it went up. According to the leaked listings Shredder is getting a solo fan channel release. Not to be that guy but I'm guessing you didn't read the actual crossover comic these are based on with those comments? April temporarily got the Pink Ranger powers while Shredder stole the Green Coin from Tommy. The rest of the stuff you mentioned doesn't happen since the comic was actually well written and not just random weird combinations.
I pre-ordered Don and Leo. While I'm not a PR fan, I think this is a pretty unique take on the turtles and the figures look pretty good. I also just got Krang in the mail today from NECA. He looks nice.... wish I didn't have to wait so long but hey, I didn't pay scalper prices.
@Laser_Optimus @IceConvoy I was not aware it was from a comic thanks for that. We might see some of these combinations in the comic in that case, who's to say, it would mean more figure ideas = $
I mentioned in the PR thread that these two packs may be a chance at an actually good April face sculpt for once. I mean, not a guarantee given Hasbro's track record with PR face sculpts, but maybe they'll lean into the cartoony look for her. The crossover comic's really good. I'd recommend it to anyone who has even a remote interest in both series.
The new TMNT crossover figures make me wonder if Hasbro could technically produce Turtles figures from the old New Mutation show since they did appear in episodes of Power Rangers back then.
Well, not likely considering it was a mini. They did leave it open for a follow-up but so far no news. Bebop and Rocksteady, Rita, Zordon, Splinter, Kurai, most of the main characters showed up in the crossover as themselves. It's honestly not supposed to be in the style of DC/Marvel's Amalgam stuff but more along the lines of the Batman/TMNT stuff where the two franchises exist in the same universe. I guess depending on how much Playmates wants to play ball with Hasbro after these initial offerings we could see the TMNT charscters that showed up in the crossover snuck into the line, but I wonder if it wouldn't have to be some kind of exclusive considering how Playmates typically is with the license.
