I wonder if that Danny head will fit on a foot solider. I hope NECA goes so deep into TMNT movie figures that we get Sam Rockwell and a couple cartons of cigarettes to go with him.

 

I am rather torn on Armaggon.

I want him, that's not the question. But if this is an all-new mold (or even mostly new), they're DEFINITELY going to release it again somewhere down the line, don't you think?

So I'm not sure if it's better to just get this one and eat the extra cost of the Lootcrate crap, or wait for the likely reuse of the mold and risk it being equally expensive, or possibly even retooled somehow like that Arcade Leatherhead figure.

 

If anybody doesn't want theirs I'll gladly pay them for the Armaggon figure. I really can't afford it right now, but later on, I'm sure it will be fine. By then though they'll be sold out.

Well I've seen comic scans of him during my internet search so maybe there? They did say Mirage was coming back but I can't remember if Trevor said they didn't have Archie rights or not during the Fwoosh interview

Yep! It’s this guy and it’ll come with swappable mutant body parts like Vern. NECA is going to get a ton of mileage with that body

 

That shredder is kind of underwhelming imho.

I don't know what I was expecting but I don't think I'll be looking hard for that one since I have the original.
If I see it randomly I'll pick it up.

Out of all of NECA’s TMNT stuff, he’s definitely about the best at being an action figure.

 

Did anyone else order the Super7 Wave 2 figures at Dorkside? I'm still waiting and can't believe they're this far behind every other retailer.

 

Didn’t order any wave 2 from them but did order some of the wave 1 reissues and wave 3 from them. This was my first time using them. If they are known for being slow I might need to reconsider...

The first thing to come to mind was “Wartoise”. I like Shellfire too...probably even more...haha. Maybe War-Tuga (tortuga is Spanish for turtle). Or maybe Terrorpene (terrapene is the genus under which box turtles are categorized).
