Ironic isn't it ?  Thanks for the input @Bête Noire @Skullox , I will search elsewhere for alternatives. I have some of those pincer-type supports from SH Figuarts but I dont trust their grip on such a Hefty Boy as Krang.

Yes, whats an idea worth exploring. It would like kinda cool with that setup, almost like Android body is going in for a 'tune-up' lol.

I watched the Pixel Dan review of the Ultimates Mutagen Man and I'm kind of annoyed.

Not that it can't be filled with water, but because people are COMPLAINING that it can't be filled with water. It was clearly stated that it couldn't do it because of the articulation, but there's so many entitled dopes going "pffft they couldn't do a 30 year old gimmick fail"

That's not how toy engineering works. It's physical impossible for it to be articulated AND have the gimmick.

I found the Splinter/Shredder movie figures at a Walmart yesterday. Not on clearance like others have been found.

Yeah, I didn't even get Mutagen Man, and the people bitching about that are getting on my nerves. Another site I visit that's TMNT centric has more than enough of the "more vocal fans" complaining about this and it's pretty irritating. Stupid.

I don't collect turtles but I had to grab Bebop. Last night he was sold out on BBTS and on a whim I checked it this morning and, score. I guess people cancelled last night?

Give it a few weeks, someone will find a way to water-seal the figure and put up a how-to on social media.
As someone who doesn't have any skin in the game (my Mutagen Man is still MISB), I totally can see how people would be disappointed by the lack of the water-filling-gimmick. That big brain's rigidity blocking insertion/retrieval of the accessories seems a lot more damning, though.

Either way, I can understand people being disappointed, methodology of delivery for said disappointment notwithstanding.

I 100% agree that a series of gaskets could seal up this guy, with only a small amount of articulation loss. But then the figure would have been $90 not $45.

If I wanted to fill my Mutagen Man with liquid and not leak...and I mean PERMANENTLY FILL HIM...I’d get some clear 2-part silicone. I’d mix a small batch and put it in the figure and slowly rotate him around to coat the inside of the shell to seal it. After that sets up, I’d mix a second batch and fill him up the rest of the way...adding the trash pieces along the way. Silicone electronics potting compound ought to do the trick.

The seal problem could have been solved. Instead of having holes where the arms and legs plug in, they could have been closed sockets. But I've been watching Scott Neitlich's YouTube channel and he chronicles the times where they tried to go the extra mile with the MOTU Classics line and it almost always backfired. So I don't blame Super7 for not going that route. At least they were out there early telling people that it wouldn't hold water. It's not some last minute surprise.

Does anyone remember that red bull dude in the old line? Had that figure as a kid. Probably would buy a Sup7 version but I don't know if there's a demand for it.

There was also a Devil-ray guy I think that was either in the toon or a toy.

Anyway, I better get the hell out if here before I get carried away with another line....

I think the red bull is named Groundchuck. The Devil-ray I don't know.

it’s funny how accurately these date me...I had all but 1 in the first and second pictures, 3-4 in the next and none after that.
