Not a fan of the clear NECA stands. They do very little in the way of stabilising the figure's standing pose.
I didn't think it was possible for a figure to fall off of a stand that pegs into its foot, but yep. It's happened a few times.

I picked up Mighty Metal head last week.

Does anyone know if the Krang with bubble walk in the pack with Donny has any shading differences compared to the pack he comes in with Shredder.

My Big Chap alien took a dive off the shelf last week. I thought it was odd since he was on one of the black NECA stands. After closer inspection, I saw that the stand peg broke off in his foot. It turns out the stands are made from the same crappy plastic as the figures.

I think the best way to stabilize Krang is to use something that grapples to that bar on his back, because of...

    ^This

    ^And this.

As far as I know, the version that comes with Shredder is a straight reissue of the version that comes with Donny.

Man, they are stocking the hell out of the Triceratons and rock soldiers lately...Krang and the Splinter set made a good showing as well. One would think the Rat King set would ship in numbers at least as high as the Triceratons.

I’m not going to trust any peg/hold stand with Android Krang. When mine fell over it was because his ankle joints failed and he tipped over, the foot was still firmly pegged into the stand. I’m thinking the only solution for mine is going to be a clip stand that either trusses his waist or a thigh.

How about something like this...but cartoony? And with gripper jaws to hold onto his body?

Hey that would work! Or maybe like strapped to a tilted Frankenstein’s monster/Darth Vader table. :D

On the subject of Krangkles, has anyone here used Kiki on NECA figures? I’ve used it plenty on harder ABS and metal joints but I haven’t tried it on PVC, or candy cane or whatever it is NECA uses.

Sorry - could have saved you a trip. Temple seems to have fallen off the NECA radar, as it is wont to do.

So yeah, yesterday I went to a nearby Target store during my lunchbreak while at work. I felt like I was too early, however I decided to go home instead of going back at the end of my shift. Today, I call that same Target and guess what? They had stocked one Ratking / Vernon in the afternoon (after I had checked) and sold it. Dammit!!!

Pretty much. The first sets I’ve seen produced in numbers coming anywhere close to meeting demand are the Splinter/Baxter set and Android Krang...and more recently the Rock soldiers, Triceraton/RR and Zork/Zarax. Most things prior to that remain in fairly short supply (Casey/Foot set, April/Foot set, Slash/Leatherhead set and Metalhead). However, Metalhead was made available for preorder on NECA’s website...I think maybe Slash and Leatherhead were as well? At any rate, those first few sets they released last Summer need to come back at some point, hopefully soon.

Yeah, Slash/Leatherhead were eventually up for a limited preorder window through NECA, like Metalhead and Rocksteady/Bebop. And the Turtles, Foot Soldiers, Shredder, and Krang with Walker Suit were available in more than one way at some point (though the Turtles were different decos). Casey/Slashed Foot Soldier and April/Bashed Foot Soldier seem to be the hardest to come by so far. Hopefully, Rat King/Vernon doesn't join that list...still nothing in my area today.

After getting spammed with the past 4 or 5 releases, so to speak, I’d be surprised if Rat King ends up in short supply. I’m hoping the Target.com listing will open up again...

Yeah, for sure. Hopefully this time, I'd either get the alert immediately or it would last more than 3 minutes! We've got multiple potential snowstorms in the forecast, with the first being tonight through tomorrow, so I'm probably gonna miss out on a few upcoming days for potential searching. Another online drop would be very, very helpful.
