According to toynewsi the 120.00 playset will be out in august. I'm thinking the toys would probably be out a little earlier than that before they drop the big playset on to shelves.

wow, really impressed so. I was just going to pick up the classic turtles but I'm def leaning toward collecting these as well. I agree that the painted nun chucks were just for those preview figures. Which is a shame given how high quality these figures seem to be.

Pixel Dan's review was quite helpful. Glad to have it confirmed that the 3 3/4" Turtles have a universal elbow joint, as well as unfortunately only having a single jointed knee. I'll be picking all 4 up, but maybe not immediately.

That's 4.25-4.45" each, and i am SO glad the size is just right with the original line! That means they will be compatible with the older playsets and vehicles!

Damn, that's cool. It's not the NECA turtles, but it's sculpted detail doesn't seem too far off. I wish it had a more pronounced wash.

Luckily if a wash is the only issue that is a super easy thing to do on your own. I can recommend some washes if you need/want

Preordered a case of the retro turtles. I'm still a little apprehensive about the new designs, but I'm also willing to bet they will be more common at retail then the classics.

Can't stop thinking about the new Tv series coming out. I'm looking forward to seeing how the voices are going to come out, especially since Kevin Michael Richardson is voicing Shredder.

Even planning on stop buying Transformers for awhile (until TF4 or a good Soundwave comes out) and buying the first wave of Ninja Turtle toys.

Preordered the case of 4 Turtles last night. $9 a piece sounds good, I wonder if thats what the retail price is going to be as well.

Waiting on a case of 4 retro now.

    $119.99 for that playset?

    Damn.

Wonder how much that thing will retail for? I can't see a lot of people setting down $100 for that at Wal-Mart or Target.

I'm gonna hold off on pre-ordering anything TMNT; all of the stores here will gladly pull stuff out of the back once they get it in and chances are, stores will get this TMNT stuff in early for a reset / timed release making it easy to grab.

At this point, I think I'm in for one of everything... except that playset :lol
