The GITD Toxic Avenger looked pretty good. Baxter just doesn't have an appealing color scheme. Too washed out.
Timing is everything So today I called Georgetown, Roundrock, Leander, and Cedar Park, no Neca rep in a week or 2 and no new TMNT
I'm just guessing, but I have a feeling the coronavirus is really not helping... I can see vendors not wanting to make round trips to multiple stores. Texas, in particular, right now...
This year has been like a near perfect storm for scalper types. Besides ticket sales anyway. But they've found ways to make up for that. Or at least try to. I remember, a few months ago, thinking that our situation would be a case of not much getting released this year as releases would keep getting pushed back. Instead, stuff's been coming out fairly normally, but more than ever seems to be falling into scalper hands.
nope it's gonna be heck, Neca put in a nice system for their exclusvies today and i think it worked well (i jumped thru several hoops to check out the alien i grabbed off of a whim), plus they deleted offenders and repeat orders, but we're stuck with an uncaring Target
Score 1 for NECA taking some action here! Are the Spice Turtles allegedly going to be available in-store as well?
Whelp, I was just at Target and saw their entire NECA section restocked... with a big hole where the TMNT stuff would have been. That's always a good sign. But at least I know that Target did indeed order them.
I'm in LA County so we typically get stuff after NorCal, but it does explain why twenty people showed up to look at the same empty spot I looked at, haha.
Ah man Pixel Dan just went off on all the people mad that he gets review samples when they can't get the figures.....i will never understand that kinda hate and envy. He provides reviews, goes to the cons and gets interviews, always posting information, and people are really mad that he got a sample of the SDCC Turtles smmfh
