I don’t own a single Revoltech/Amazing Yamaguchi figure...but I’ve been itching to get one to try out. Maybe I’ll try their Donny if I can find one at a decent price (no idea what they go for).

they were on clearance at BBTS awhile back, i think $40 is the going price, this didn't drop to SHF prices but IDK, maybe they held value a bit more being the resurrection of the TMNT franchise?

it is for me, it throws off the aesthetics with them seeming having their heads scrunched in to their shoulders or them constantly looking like they're permanently in a shoulder shrug, they weren't like that in the show so it makes the figures look off, so i get that it might be a big deal to you, but it's off putting AF to me, otherwise they're really nice figures

Those are Neca, either the regular 7in or the 1/4 scale, I'm pretty sure those are the 7in though, greatly done figures

Who were your favorite non-turtle figures in the original line by Playmates back in the day? I liked Wingnut a lot, my friend had him. I also liked the cyborg red bull guy. I don't think the original figures aged well(I find some of the design decision as figures to be weird) but they were fun for their time. Plus they were sturdy as hell, you had to TRY to break those things and normally you wouldn't unless they had a wind up gimmick(like my swimming Raph or Donatello, which was fun as hell!).

Usagi Yojimbo and Panda Khan, and then the Metal Armors that became animals when you took off the armor and put it together

I always liked the toy version of Usagi Yojimbo, Muckman, and Anthrax down towards the end of the toyline.
    Oh, and the Rat King.

I 100% recommend the Revoltech turtles to anyone interested in the 2012 show; it's a no contest comparison against anything Playmates released. As far as complaints, the neck issue bugs me but like some revoltechs, they look weird in certain positions. I display mine in action poses, but if you want a neutral, standing up pose, they look off. It's not Amazing Yamaguchi Spider-Man bad but it isn't Spider Gwen either.

yeah i don't want it to seem like i wouldn't recommend them, my biggest complaint of the missing neck on Leo, Ralph, and Mikey isn't enough to say stay away, they're leagues better than
    [IMG]
    and they have necks lol

lol! I agree! My opinion, if anyone is interested in them... I think Mikey is the strongest of the four, followed by Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael is probably the worse.
