Not to mention they f**ked us with nonstop reruns during 2017 and now a little.
YJ is coming back you know.
Yes. But CN had nothing to do with it. My problem is with CN at the moment.
And what do you base that on? People loved Wonder Woman in BvS and her movie did great and people loved Aquaman in JL, so the same thing can happen with his movie.
We drift further from god every day.
Ugh please no.
I get the feeling that it's going to end up just like The Simpsons Movie where people say why would I deal with the expense and aggravation of the movie theater for exactly the same thing that is already airing on TV. Might be even worse for this movie since The Simpsons was only on once a week but Teen Titans Go is on something like 20 times a day on Cartoon Network. You know when it bombs Cartoon Network is going to show the movie several times a week.
To be honest, another Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie would be better than this.
I think this will be just like the show... The people who don't like the animation, jokes, still want the old TT show back, etc. won't like it. The adults who actually gave the show a chance (myself included) will like it. The kids that this series is mostly geared towards will love it.
I'm going to be seeing it. Maybe not in theaters since I barely go out to the movies any longer, but definitely a rental and probably at least a digital purchase.
Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Could Be DC's Deadpool
Yeah no. Saying TTGo being DC's answer to the Deadpool movie is like comparing Ice Cream to Horse Manure.
I dunno Deadpool kinda sucks as a character. Pretty apro pro.
Nope. Nope. Nope. NOPE.
To say Deadpool and Teen Titans Go is the same is tormenting logic worse that Adam West figuring out a clue left by the Joker. Fourth wall breaking wasn't invented by Deadpool. Movies and cartoons have been doing it forever. Heck if we wanted a kid friendly version of Deadpool without all the cussing and killing then classic Bugs Bunny fits the mold far better.
Plus Deadpool felt like something new and fresh when it rolled along with it's R rating. Teen Titans Go to the Movies looks exactly like what you already get on Cartoon Network, if you are still one of the people still watching shows on Cartoon Network.
Also factor in that Deadpool seemed to unite it's fandom by saying hey forget about that time that movie we aren't going to name upset you all to hell. We are going to give you comic book geezers exactly want you want. Teen Titans Go to the Movies is just going to further piss off the fans still holding a grudge about really great cartoons getting axed so they could show the cheapest crappiest stuff Cartoon Network could squeeze out. There are a lot of fans that would pick kicked in the tender bits if the choice was watch Teen Titans Go or get kicked in the tender bits.
That's a REALLY bold claim to make. They're lucky that title says "could" be because it won't be.
If it was, then TTGO the Movie would've been an R Rated animated feature.
Not really news but even a fellow cartoonist can't make this seem like a good idea.
Butch Hartman knows best.
I think this would be a better poster for the movie.
And yes, I took the pic from their own trailer.
I would not watch this in theaters even if people paid my ticket. I don't want to add to their view count.
It's like the creators too know this s**t is not for the big screen, and are making up excuses why they have to make it? And hiding behind a better DC movie? And an Aquaman argument showing the Superfriends version (who is decidedly not the version who is getting a movie?)
Also, why are they fighting a giant pink Baymax?
The only good part were the Jump City posters, though most of them felt forced... Laz-R-US, really?
One good thing is, this trailer alone had more actual fight and action than most whole episodes of the show.
I have seen so many people claim the Emoji Movie (which to me just seems to be a Wreck it Ralph ripoff) is like, the worst animated movie ever... I have actually decided to watch it on Kimcartoons. I mean, I watched Ratatoing, several Golden Films and Dingo Pictures Disney ripoffs, Norm of the North... I have things to compare it to. We'll see if it is indeed that bad.
New Poster For TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES Parodies The JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie
Should that tagline be QFT? (quoted for truth)
It's funny to see Raven being the one of the two characters smiling on this poster.
