As I said earlier, some of us have been asking for human figures of this type for a long time now. Whatever issues I have with the execution, I'm very glad to see movement in this direction.

I think you nailed it. At least for the torso. The artwork has the key features that Helix's torso has: the harness thing over the shoulders, the waist pouches, the little lines of buttons/rivets that go down the front. Good call! I think that mold will look good in white.

I'm sold. I'm not the biggest fan of the reveals, but they are different and enough for me to re-up next year. As a fan of both franchises (But a member of only 1 of them), this will do.

If we were talking about something that was being done instead of something else, I might agree, but since this is apparently being done in addition to existing exclusives (I make the case in an earlier post in this thread), I think it's an experiment worth trying, although I certainly agree that I'd have rather had the Transformer be an actual transforming figure.

I think it is a decent idea but I agree a HA figure with an actual TF would have worked better. If if the TF has nothing to do with Marissa. I am curious to see what the price will be. I am guessing in the $50.00 dollar range.

Marissa Faireborn and Afterburner, not a bad choice combo.

Too bad I was far off with that "shockwaves" teaser hint they gave out, I thought it would have tie in to Hell Day somehow?

I like the styling. Very Kotobukiya Bishoujo. I could always see this as a running theme in the few years, with a GB Blackrock, a Circuit Breaker, Dynamo, Thunderpunch and Rapture.

Honestly, with the release of Death's Head, we are seeing this type of crossover into collections because the more the merrier. And because if it appears in a comic, it must always become something we can put on a shelf. Right?

As others have mentioned, the torso seems to be Resolute Scarlett's:

I can see joe fans liking it and some TF fans digging it but this is an easy pass for me (and I buy all the stuff from the club). This just leans too far on the Joe side of things for me and my collection, especially coming from the TRANSFORMERS Collectors Club.
Looking forward to the TFSS figures and Lio though...
Had she been paired with any Transformer I most likely would have been all over it, it just doesn't feel like a real crossover (to me).

I'd love a Circuit Breaker, though she won't happen unless Marvel/Disney okays it, given they own her.

Kinda wish someone would pluck her out of obscurity at Marvel.

If this was a Joe figure that comes with a Transformer, I'd be down.

As it stands, I don't really need a 3 3/4 inch human figure that scales with jack shit and no one.

I dig Lio Convoy, though. So good job on that.

Oh yeah, look at that! Okay, I take it back, that's most likely it. I don't have Resolute Scarlett, so I didn't remember that she looked like that. Thanks!

Now, I totally get that this isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I see this idea that it "leans... Joe" and I find I don't really get it. The fact that Joe molds are being used notwithstanding, what makes this figure "lean Joe"? Surely the fact that it's a human doesn't make it a "Joe" any more than any other human action figure line in existence.

And, as far as the vehicle, again, what makes it a "Joe" (the actual Joe-origin of the mold notwithstanding) versus any other line that has vehicles in it?

I haven't been reading that series and the announcement doesn't make mention of it. It only talks about the G1 Season 3 iteration of that character, which was why I questioned the choice as I've never seen anyone speak favorably of her.

Oh my God I've wanted a Marissa G.I. Joe type figure since I was a kid. Let my club membership expire a while ago but got to renew now. Holy cow. Hope Hasbro releases Masterpiece Magnus over here next year too.

I think the nature of a non-transforming action figure sways people's opinions toward it being more Joe. We've had plenty of non-transforming Transformers, but it's just kind of a built in notion we expect from a Transformers toy: to transform.

Not trying to justify the reasoning, but just food for thought.
