My guess would be the upgrade Studio Cell Unicron rings kit that is available like this: @ultraman zoffy - awesome work on your Unicron from the BZ figure. So your Unicron will sit between these two in bot height? I think from your measurements more likely to be closer to Haslab Unicron in height…
Created a new set of curved wing tips to replace the odd straight ones that came with the Studio Cell wing upgrade set. Minor tweak with a big aesthetic impact.
I think I was more interested in getting a good Unicron representation on my shelf that had a strong presence than trying to beat Haslab's exact size, so that's a nice bonus. I couldn't remember if the height they published was to the wings or the horns tbh.
Its referenced as being 27 inches tall but I couldn’t say for sure if that’s to the head or horns. I don’t own one. The photo below shows Haslab Unicron with TR Fort Max. Maybe you have Fort Max and can put that next to your Unicron? Irrespective of the size, your work on converting a stock GS Black Zarak into Unicron is modding wizardry. Fantastic!
This is him before he grew another inch with my extended thigh design, so yeah, I guess he's taller than Haslab now by quite a bit.
I. Love. This. I love how much detail you add and how the process it takes. 3D printing kits, big or small, conversions or small additions, it's just beautiful. I don't understand how people can do this, but it truly is something to admire. The dedication and commitment is awesome! I truly admire your skills and cannot wait to see this project finish, and, if any, to witness more to come.
WOW! are the pincers stronng enough to hold a fig? even if not theyre still great lookign and a fun play addition to the design!
Absolutely loving this! I don’t know if you added this for play value, but I think they make a wonderful addition. Do the large pincers fold in and store in the chest or do they detach-and-reattach depending on whether the chest is open or closed?
They detach. I would have needed to make them much smaller to fold down and fit inside the closed chest (which was the original plan), but they didn't look proportional to the mouth at that size, so I decided to just make them plug in parts that store inside the chest cavity when not in use so they could be larger and more significant looking.
