I don't really have room for yet another huge RID Optimus, but those clear minicons are nice.

I'll definitely be getting Starscream though.

 

Wait... so Optimus is basically Hasbro colored?! Ugh I hope the first release is what's primarily in the show and this is the powered up form or something. It also sucks that he now comes with exclusive microns. Either way I'm not buying that mold again..

The Mini-Cons Optimus comes with are the only worthwhile thing here.

Starscream is alright but isn't enough of a huge difference IMO.

 

Those are just dragonus and tricerashot, who will also be available in the US, but ina different deco.

Why not just ge tthe Hasbro one? Its readily available and very similar in deco and its at least 10$ less than takara

Hm... I was holding off on the US version of Starscream, awaiting this one. But I'm not sure I prefer the Takara deco. It has more paint apps, but I think I might like the lighter blue and blue shoulderpads of the US version better.

Although those dark grey paint apps and shoulder stripes do look really nice. Maybe it's worth it sticking with this one after all.

The reports of floppy hips have also made me stay away from the Hasbro version; presumably Takara's will be tighter.

Are these both deluxes

 

Starscream is tempting, mostly because he's been hard for me to find. Ironically, the $30-$35 this will cost is still cheaper than what he's going for on eBay.

 

funky jet mode and headsculpt aside, wish starscream had looked like this in prime. maybe ditch the big shoulder pads too and then add them when he comes back in rid.

as it is he hardly looks like the prime character.

 

No, this Optimus is about leader class sized but Starscream is deluxe class.


I really like Takara's Starscream over Hasbro's so I might get this when it gets released.

 

Ugh, I like this Starscream over the Hasbro one I already have.


The question is, do I like him enough to pay the higher import prices?  

 

This TAV61 is the same as TAV50?

 

It's the same figure as TAV50 but in different colors.

Oh wow..both looking good! Although Hasbro's Screamer looks better in light blue, IMO
