I just realize I dont think I can use this for Scourge. The Classics Rodimus mold doesnt use the standard 5mm peg size hole (its smaller) so this might not fit snug in Scourge's hands. I gotta test it out when I get both..

Very neat but the face looks very Decepticon.

Maybe throw a grin or something to not make it look like a raging maniac.

Not if the peg stays like that. Remember, Classics Rodimus has a much smaller fist hole than the standard 5mm size used on the sheer majority of Transformers figures.

A good thing to do would be to have a dual-width peg so that both Rodimus and regular figures can hold it (5mm width at the top, Rodimus width at the bottom of the handle), which is what Takara did for the Stepper/Ricochet reissue so the Jazz mold could continue to use Jazz's normal weapons. Also allows whomever is making them to do recolours (to use with other characters) without having to retool the peg.

Also to add, since this is probably being made to interest those buying Protector. Protector might not have the same peg hole width that Rodimus does.

Hmmmm... [IMG] Should he be of good quality, a decent paintjob & a reasonable price (considering his size), then you might as well take the money out of my wallet now. :D

What I'd like to know is where Firebolt will store in vehicle mode. In an effort to avoid replacing the missile launcher, I think it would be a good idea if Firebolt could fit above the spoiler like with Ani. Rodimus' bow. It would sure look a lot better than that daft 'attack mode' the car feature.

Very nice, yeah FP are doing one bundled with their mega upgrade set but if this is the better one and it's not silly money then I'll pick it up.

Terrible first product because Protector is going to have Firebolt anyway, and everyone and their mother wants Protector... So sales may suck and we probably won't see Fracas or Haywire. Heck, I'd like to see them make Targetmaster partners for previously non- Targetmasters like Prowl or Sideswipe.

First part, agree. Second part, disagree.

Also, I bet this will be ludicrously overpriced which will hurt sales too.

Ahh I see. In the original pics of Protector, he was shown holding Rodimus' gun via its peg, whilst the prototype seen at BotCon has the peg built into the (visually clashing) rectangular barrel.

On a side note, I guess somebody also realised having an essentially heavy, pointy plastic missile that could fire out of the launcher was rather dangerous, even if these things are recommended age 16+.

    This
I was waiting for a third party to make targetmasters but i was hoping haywire would be the first i mean protector is supposed to be coming with Firebolt anway so this seems a bit null and void but if they make mmore that would be awesome.

Also haywire would be perfect as you could seperate blurrs hood and fold his fists sideways to allow him to mount in the hood in vehicle form

On an added note i dont know why but this really reminds me of cashanova's desighns like venksta said

However im sure if people showed enough intrest etc this guy could probably be slightly re desighned to resemble a diffrent Targetmster

How come everyone is convinced Protector will come with Firebolt? All I heard in Vangelus' Preview video of Protector at Botcon was that Targetmaster partners (Like Universe Nightstick) could fit inside and/or 'pilot' the trailer's base mode.

    Did I miss something?

It is not confirmed if a FP style Firebolt is going to be included with Protector. But it is known they have one in the works that will be compatible with the Protector kit. :)
