Not really. Think bigger and more vertically. Instead of gas stations and miniature airstrips; imagine more gleaming skyscrapers, landscapes and public landmarks transforming and combining. It would be more like the Chrysler Building or Big Ben or the Space Needle as combiner, or combiner of combiners.

I get it. It's how I proposed they make 1986 Autobot City using several Commander Class figures that would form a complete city for Core Class and smaller.

    Have:
    The Dam
    The Communications Tower
    The Defense Station
    The Docking Station

They aren't afraid to make tall parts, as seen with the rocket with Omega Supreme. The key to make it collapsible so as to not fail a drop test.

And yeah, I know that'd be a $400 set when bought over time. But fans have dropped more than that all at once.

Well, we also have Trypticon and Metroplex who turn into city-bases.

And I seriously don't think we're going to get anything even remotely like recognizable public landmarks being used for Transformers at any scale. Hasbro likely wouldn't want to deal with the outcry of parent groups bringing up terrorist hijackings because little Timmy has his Willis Tower Autobot get smashed into by a Decepticon in plane mode I.E. Octane.

What's funny is that Big came out in 1988 and was mocking buildings that turn in to robots but I think by that point Metroplex was absolutely a thing within the Transformers toyline and since then we've had countless "city bots." Not to mention the countless "base robots" that have come out in Sentai (some of which came over to Power Rangers) for the past 40 years.

Like, this was the big beautiful bastard that capped off the Liveman toyline. It didn't turn in to shit.

Big's problem wasn't a building that turned in to a robot, it was a lack of imagination. Put that dude in a cartoon and he'd probably sell millions.

There was a small version of it available on Shapeways. Not sure if it is still there.

They are maybe showing a preview on the splash page. Yesterday they had a pic of the Lego What If... set where they have Joe today.

I'll bet you the Pink Gundam Strike shows up in these reveals in the coming weeks.

Edit: looks like it's out already...oops.

The Red Zaku would be in theme too, it's on preorder in many places.

By the way this is Gundam Universe, 8 inch highly poseable somewhat stylized figures, which remind me very much of Gundam MSIA

Ohhhh thank u. This is a great way of showing what’s upcoming, so I know that if it’s transformers I should check at 9 & same w other franchises that people are interested in.

Well that pisses me off. I sat there refreshing the page trying to order Baroness, and then one moment I refresh the page and she's instantly sold out.

We got a "Machine Buffalo" in Transformers, too. But it was a trailer that came with Energon Prime. In all honesty, Energon Prime was a love letter to Sentai Megazords.

Hasbro or Takara needs to reissue this guy, for he was glorious - paunch and chicken legs all. I'd love to see the Nemesis version at full scale instead of just the model kit.
