Some potentially interesting news from a friend who works at Target- she said that the following Transformers DPCIs are now listed as discontinued, meaning they will likely not be a part of the next revision/reset, and will probably go to clearance in the next month or two:

    Ultimate Optimus
    Revving Robots
    Mechtech Leader Class
    Robo Fighters
    Human Alliance Basics

Presumably most or all of the current DOTM lines will be discontinued at the big summer reset, but it looks like these items will be eliminated beforehand.

Not surprised about the HA Basics, they were given a pretty big shelf presence and met with a seemingly lukewarm reception.

Yea, even though I have them all (got em cheap), I probably looked at them for about 20 minutes and was more interested in the weapons that came with them. The only real surprise to me on this list is the Leader Class Figs. I would take the plunge on another Leader Sentinal and Ironhide at 70% off for display purposes. Really should have grabbed one of each on clearance. I think they would have done better putting out Leader Ironhide with the first wave.

Wouldn't mind getting a second Ultimate Prime at 70% off either though.

Half of the HA basics looked unimpressive of the box. The only wave that didn't suck was the second to the last one which had the newest molds.

HA Skids was at Ross and TJ Maxx over a year ago, and stopped showing up since. HA BB is fairly easy to find. My Marshalls had over 15 out for the Christmas.

Unless your referring to the DOTM versions.

Makes sense. Most of these size classes aren't carrying over to the next year. MechTech Deluxe and MechTech Voyager would be the Trilogy assortments then.

I wonder if this means the leader class is being transferred from Movie to TFP.

Interesting. I've been meaning to pick up Leader Sentinel for cheap once I returned to the States (done) and got settled down (in the process). Wasn't interested in paying the Japanese Takara prices on him. Sentinel and Striker Optimus have a score to settle, sword and shield style. XD

Potentially. Though I suspect with most of the toys at Voyager / Deluxe class it simply might be being given temporary retirement, unless that's the size class that'll give us Unicron.

Yeah, Leader Class is the only really unexpected one. Revving Robots and Robo Fighters will probably be replaced by Prime items for kids, and Ultimate Optimus was a one-off. The HA Basics don't really fit in anywhere, either.

So much for that Leader Megatron and Shockwave that was oh so heavily rumoured about but nothing concrete ever surfaced about them...

Deluxe Leadfoot (USA) Target Exclusive is canceled.......... in other news....... Transformers are canceled.
    The End.

Anyway good to know that clearances are coming on these toys.... that common sense would tell you are going to the discounters or will be heavily clearanced at all stores soon enough.

Sorry if this post is getting overly sardonic but I really thought this was about Deluxe Leadfoot as well.

I thought if anything we get word that it's canceled by now... but no, it's still up in the air.
