I\'m really exited for these new figures. Takara Legends Blitzwing is too tall, and falls apart really easily, Wonder what they\'ll do given his leader price. I kinda hope the Core Megs is a either a G2 Camo deco, or an entirely new fig based on the Croc Meg

 

That's why codenames exist.

But time and again we're reminded Hasbro doesn't care about leaks. We've got a list of names but still don't know what they'll look like or how they'll Transform.

You’re right about codenames, I’m guessing those are studio requested given they don’t do that with any other lines.

 

Also possible code names are because final names may need multiple parties to sign off on, which takes longer than Hasbro can wait to plan products. (Designs are one thing, names are another.)

Whereas the Generations line is all theirs.

 

The fact remains whether these rotb listings will be decent sort of old movie style representations (dotm) or just shitty kids cyberverse type stuff.

 

We already knew it was coming, but hell yeah, I’m looking forward to Legacy Blitzwing! If it’s anywhere near as good as Siege Astrotrain, I will be very happy.  

 

I’d say Safari might be Bumblebee, knowing his alt-mode has off-road modifications.

I'm not getting my hopes up but as much as I like the TR toy, I'd pay 50 for a blitzwing where all 3 modes are killer. don't even care if he's still voyager sized. i love Astrotrain, but I'd happily trade the tender box for a cleaner shuttle mode.

I wonder if it is animated Blitzwing. Blitzing should be as big as Astrotrain but Astrotrain had leftover parts in robot mode that worked for the train and shuttle. I wonder what parts would come off a G1 Blitzwing.

 

While I understand the frustration of the price hikes, what are we supposed to do about it, really? Boycott the figures? I feel like Hasbro would not take that as a sign to lower prices, but to cease producing new figures altogether, or focus exclusively on the kiddie lines. What do you really see as the path forward?

I think Safari is Rhinox. I’m assuming that Alpha is Bumblebee because he’s had the codename Alpha Strike before.

 

Would HATE this personally but what if his tank treads could combine to make a shield?
