Let me guess: Road Rage is a Target exclusive because she's red.

 

Before Lonewolf left, he said that he had information of a new Leader Class Optimus Prime, potentially for SS. So maybe this is it?


Also, we had that mysterious Optimus Prime listing from the Amazon AU leaks about a month ago that had an Optimus for a rather absurd price. I don’t know how the conversion works for that, but perhaps these could all be the same figure?




Also. Using the listings you’ve discovered so far, do you think you could determine how far out these might be? I only ask because since we have a movie coming next year, and the CG designs are definitely being worked on right now, I think in about a years times we’ll be seeing those new movie figures. So they are definitely in the works to some degree.

 

Besides T-wrecks which has a June 1st Streetdate, the rest of this stuff will probably come out between August and December of this year.

 

I'm glad I put aside money in February when I first found out T-wrecks was a June release since it gave me plenty of time to save up in case I'm unable to locally source one.

 

It's possible Pulse will get them, which would help in the UK.

I get the impression both would be in branded packaging. Unless they're online only.

 

May get Road Rage, she's probably my favorite Diaclone-made-Transformers character out of all the ones we've gotten. But I gotta reserve judgment until we see the toy proper.

 

Hopefully Road Rage isn't as delayed as Runabout was getting to TRU.

 

Do the listings show at all if Road Rage is a Red Card exclusive?

 

I don't think it would be. ER Thrust and Runabout were Target exclusives, but they were otherwise normal figures in ER packaging. I'd imagine Road Rage to be the same if she's listed as Kingdom.

 

You have to buy Target exclusives online if you want your best chance at them. Store stocking was too lumpy and restocks were infrequent for Thrust and Runabout, and I wouldn't be surprised if the next round is even harder to find in stores.

Personally, I don't do the whole run from store to store all day thing anymore. It's boring and a waste of time and money.

 

As long as Road Rage isn't a stupid Red Card exclusive, I'm in.

 

No Road Rage doesn’t have Redcard in the title of her listing, unlike T-Wrecks.

Edit 6/16/21: updated product listings shows that she’s a Red Card Exclusive now.

 

I actually PREFER a redcard exclusive because it means I have a much easier chance getting it. Sorry, guys..

 

then how come I got paid a few months back as part of a settlement for a class-action suit against Target about false and misleading advertising re: the Debit version of the Red Card?

My overall thoughts on this: Road Rage: I really hope Road Rage has the G1 toy head and not the Animated head. If it has the Animated head, I’m skipping. Leader Optimus and Megatron: God, I hope they’re SS DOTM reissues. I NEEEEEED THAT OPTIMUS! T-Wrecks: This thing is probably going to be revealed at the May fan first that was teased at pulse fan fest. Buzzworthy Origins Bumblebee: I really hope this is a new mold that’s the size of Netflix Bee, doesn’t partform, and has the saucer alt mode. It sounds like that’s going to the case, thankfully.

 

Pre C19 perhaps. But Hb/TT may not be pressing the same quantities of figures this time around.
