So I think I channeled some of Big Hank today.

This idea hit me at work today, I had to come home & work on it.
It's part of an upcoming project(i'm sure you all can guess it),
but I'm just really super happy with how it's turned out so far, I just have to share.

Hard to believe under all the Tarantulas parts & Mighty Putty.
The base is Animated Lazerbeak.

Yes, I know Spiders have 8 legs, but this lil guy looked really odd with 8 legs.
So I'm only using 6.

I've got more refining & shaping to do still & of course paints.
That will come later.

Edit: Chansformer & GMFan101 gave me a few ideas to help better this lil guy.
Added an LED @ the front (I'm going to make it green in the end) &
added a claw at the back (for dragging parts around).

that's a great idea! Too bad it isn't smaller to be in scale with Transmetal Tarantulas, but I suppose that would be freakishly tiny  

 

You know how I feel about Beasties, so I'll just say that the quality of the work looks excellent bro.

 

Yeah it would be cool to have lil guys for TM Tarantulas.
But hopefully it will look "in scale" for what I have planned.

And you know how I feel about Beast Wars, So I'll take that as a complement.

Excellent work so far! That drone is actually a bit too creepy for TFA! That's awesome!! Can't wait to see more drones and Tarantulas.  I am with Redline, I'm not so much into Beast Wars, but between you and Terrorcon King, I really dig Beastie characters!

Yeah I hear you on that, this guys is kind of a hybrid of the two different ones in the show.

The Green "part" that's being dragged by the claw is the power source.
It's from a LED Book Light, I'm thinking I may make it look like a part of Waspinator fro the final product.
