Wasn't certain if this would work or not, but I went ahead with it just for fun. Ended up bring pretty satisfied by it. Pretty simple project; what you see is here is all there is too it. No pics of vehicle mode cause other than the gray on the doors, it's unchanged.
If you don't know G1, then you are not a true fan. This is BRILLIANT! Before I even clicked on the thread, I looked at the thumbnail and thought "My god... this man is a genious!"
This is great!! You should do the rest of the Predecons as well. I can see it now, the Predecons had to blend into the big city so they took vehicle alt modes... Predaking would look like a big orange Menasor...

Awsome work. I'd never have pegged this as a Tantrum homage, but now I've seen it I can't un see it! Again Awesome work! That just leaves, Razorclaw, Rampage and headstrong to sort out!
Well, if you want to keep the Prime aesthetic, I'd offer up these suggestions... Divebomb: Either Starscream or Soundwave if you want to keep him a flyer, or if it ever gets a toy, the flying Vehicon. If you wanted to do a car, I'd go with Knockout maybe. Headstrong: Maybe Bumblebee, just so they have the muscle car alt modes. Maybe even Ratchet if you wanted to give him the truck alt mode. Rampage: He's a big cat, so we need sleek and sexy... I'd go with the Vehicon mold for him. Razorclaw: Either Wheeljack or Knockout, but if we're talking combiner then I'd say Breakdown, if he gets a voyager mold. You could paint it up like a safari truck or something...
