    Edit: BOSS IS FINISHED!
    IMG_20210816_134932674.jpg
    -----
Well, Amazon AU had the Dominus Criminal Pursuit pack on sale for $47, and with the $10 app discount, I pretty much got Punch Counterpunch with a $2 barricade thrown in. :v
As such, I'm finally making good on that promise and working on BOSS!
    IMG_20210813_190152004.jpg
So far I've only done minor modifications (swapping the arms, swapping the legs, chopping off some small parts of the shoulders and removing the 'Con symbol) but I plan to do a full repaint into that gorgeous powder blue and putty on a brand new face sculpt for him.
Speaking of which, the little stud chillin' on his head ball is a ball joint socket from a Daiso Petit Block set, specifically Beast which has a massive amount of ball joints for a $2.80 building block toy.
    IMG_20210813_190229504.jpg
They're all roughly 4mm so they're good for heads, I guess.
The face I'm gonna recast is going to be Titans Return Breakaway's, since I can easily modify that into Boss' faceplated visage.

    Update!
I think it's looking alright so far. Still need to do the other leg though.

Is that TR Breakaway's Titanmaster with primer on or did you actually sculpt this?

I took a mould of Breakaway's face and casted it using some putty - I'm nowhere near good enough to sculpt something like that. :p

I’m currently modeling some turbomaster weapons for my own set. I’ll share when done.

Is it possible to make a Drift 'mode'? I always thought it was possible, and this Boss custom in the works further proves my thought.

Uh, I think this qualifies as more than just a "Minor/Repaint.";)

Really looking forward to seeing the end result!

Excellent! That's thrilling - I gotta make sure to get those sent off to my local 3D print provider when they're available.
    Hmmmmm...

Probably, just need to rotate the waist! :p
Thanks very much - when I've got time I'll make sure to give the head a bit of a cut-up and paint the other stripe on his car mode. The other leg is almost all finished, so I'll post a pic when I've got better lighting!

What did you use to make the clear parts pink?

A mix of Jacquard's pink 'Pinata' brand alcohol ink mixed into Tamiya Gloss Clear with a touch of Tamiya clear red. Pinata ink mixed with Tamiya Clear makes a great tinted clear colour. If I had an airbrush the finish would look a lot nicer, but hand-brushing did the job just fine!

Welp, near final pic! Just need to do a little bit of tweaking, but I really like how it's coming out.

Yep, I think I'm gonna call Boss finished. Added some beige highlights to his forearms and fixed the face so he's no longer got a total silver mono-nose.

Vehicle mode, because of course! I'm sure that you can pull off the gap look, but without engineering a whole new slot for the turbine engine to go into... yeah, I think I'd have this be an 'interpretation' of his SF Car mode.

Finally, all the dumbasses reunited as one great big happy family!
    ...though wait. Something's missing.
IMG_20210816_134932674.jpg There's a spot for a sixth in this boy band.

    I'm looking forward to Hurricane.
What I plan on using for my Turbomasters is this:

Oooh, those are some sexy turbine guns. Might have to pick up a few for myself - except not from Safari, I don't wanna support thieves. :v
For Hurricane, I'm thinking of using Siege Red Alert as a base, but since I've done unique things with each of my Turbomasters (Making a Cyberverse figure into a CHUG figure, repainting a 3rd party figure, adding on custom scratch-built parts and repainting a kinda difficult to find exclusive), I'm thinking of re-shelling the Space Countach into a Porsche 917 Can Am - there's an Aussie bloke who sells slot car bodies that should be roughly the right size.
