If he's smart he'll agree with you and take your offer.

Why don't you try and prove me wrong before uttering stupid challenges?

Do yourself the favour, prove me wrong, then gloat, until then, please be quiet.

Except that 'poor unsuspecting fool' types in $1700 as his maximum bid.

If people were forcing people to bid higher than they want to then yes poor guy. But he type it in, he pressed the confirm button, and he made the decision to do all of those actions.

I'd love to buy your UM but I don't collect Diaclone toys sorry. Not yet alteast :ev:

Thanks for the comments guys. Also, if Ebay is a poor indactor, I'll go ahead and tell you that I have only even heard of one of these selling complete. It was a guy in the local Detrot area and he told me he sold one without a box, missing several peices, in beat up condition for $250. SO, I'll go by that....since Ebay is a liar.

So, by your logic, Alt Prowl is worth upwards of $50, if not more, and Alt Tracks is worth $70 - $100?

Yeah.....specialty stores never mark anything up to out landish prices over real value either.

I'm not really sure what your motive is. YOu said it was worth $90, I want you to find one for $90 and get back to me.

Oh, and if youfind a MIB Red Sunstreaker for $30, lmk also. I'd be interested.

Yes, that appears to be his logic, which ironically is a lack there of.

Almost everything on ebay is overpriced and I proved it, he just can't stand being proven wrong.

    Ebay:
Im not saying that its only worth $200 but if you wanna play the indicator game most do go between that and $300, $400 at the most. It may not be worth that to me but thats what it goes for. As far as someone bumping bids and paying a high Ebay fee, Shit I just bumped my bid up to $3000 do you think I give a shit about paying a $50 in fees, HELL NO!

You know what it's worth, m8?
It's worth what you can get for it.
If you want a lot, ask for a lot. Specify a minimum amount. But don't sit there poo-pooing people's offers and throwing snarky comments at them.
SAY what you want for it, and don't fart around looking for "offers" that you'll only turn down anyway.
Also, Elmo's eBay comment is spot on. I've seen it a thousand times if I've seen it once. People ramp up their prices, set ridiculous reserves, and the like, all the damn time.
Maybe you should put it on eBay. That way, you'd either get what you want for it, or not get anything. And surely if you've never seen one in such good condition, it'd sell really easily.

It is if you're willing to pay that. Fortunetely, I got mine a retail for $20, so that's all it is worth to me. If somefeels $70 appropriate to pay for one, then yes, to taht person, it is worth $70. To be though, no, it's worth $20. BTW, I think it's tough to compare a Alt or BT to a toy that came out in 1983.

    That's a totally different topic.

First off, that toy you are asking about is MIB.

Is that MISB? MIB complete? what? explain before uttering stupidities please.

NOW THAT IS A GOOD POST!!! You're right, I should never have said, "taking offers". So, I'll go ahead and let this thread get deleted(since it appears as it will anyways since a couple of guys decided to boomb the crap out of it), and then I will post a new thread WTIH an asking price.

Well I am not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone here but the laws of supply and demand will determine the market value of something as we all know. As to the worth of something..well that will be entirely up to the collector who wants to buy the object in question. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks, I've been on ebay since it started, I know how the place works.

    It's a shame others don't agree.

No, I know you didn't. I'm just telling you, I will stop debating the issue if you find one for $90. That's all.

eBay prices are eBay prices, mate. I don't care about year of release. You said it was a fine indicator of value. Value is value. It is independant of age. I have proven that eBay is not a valid indicator of value or that you feel those figures are worth those prices.

Either way, my offer of $75 stands. What is the minimum you are looking for? More than that? If so, I guess I'm out of the running.

Ok, instead of debating the issue, let's just attack one another.

Sound good? You win. This figure is only worth $40.

Everyone, this figure is only worth $40.
