There's clearly a mistake in this article. The person in question is a man, but the article states he has a boyfriend. Tsk, tsk.
I heard about this on the news yesterday, like many others, thinking yep, I've had days like that .. as for the boyfriend part, the writer didn't have the right to invade this guys privacy, it was relevant to the story..the poor guy was just trying to relax after a rough day at work.. really..
I'm going to say....... no. This guy not only told his job to fuck off, he broke the law doing it too. He'll be lucky if he gets a job flipping burgers at Mickey D's (not that there is anything wrong with that).
My wife is a flight attendent and totally understood where this guy is coming from, to a point. Passengers get a little crazy in the air and it probably just finally hit a cord with the FA.
totally unnecessary for the writer to include the bit about him going home to have sex with his BF. Doesn't matter if it's gay or heterosexual, shouldn't need to mention it.
I wanna do that. one day I just want to grab my spray gun and paint everything, floor, windows, ceilings, lights, everything and walk away.
I think anyone who's worked any kind of customer service job gets this. Thing is, 99.99% of customers are nice people who don't take advantage of the "Customer Is Always Right" thing. The problem is with the .01% who think it's their excuse to turn someone working a cash register or sales floor into their punching bag(note: these percentages may vary. At my old movie theater, it was probably 35%). I was with him until I read what might've happened, had ground crews been around the plane. Gotta draw the line when someone might be hurt so you can make a grand exit.
