Today I found a First Edition Prime Terrorcon Cliffjumper, and this is the mold i like, because well, it looks like a zombie!

Anyways, as I'm transformering him, the little part where his bull horns on his hood/grill connect to the hood snaps! I didnt put any excessive force, or anything like that, just tried to do what the instructions told me. Am I a tool bag if i take it back? I would rather have on in 100% condition, but that opportunity is shot now for me to transform him back into car mode.

Would you take him back? or am I just shit out of luck and gonna have to buy another one.

I would definitely take him back. Sounds like poor material quality. I've also read reports about CJ breaking. I have the Takara FE and Purple Terrorcon CJ and they have been fine and to my knowledge, I have not heard anything bad about SDCC Terrorcon CJ breaking. Based on the report, I think I'll stick with what I have and not worry about Hasbro Zombie CJ.

Return it. The toy is legitimately broken and you have a right to want a non-defective one.

Mine's just fine, but even after 2 transformations I bet the stress marks are on the verge of an unpleasant sequel :(

If it broke, then return it. Of course, if you don't want to be a d-bag, make sure you tell them it's broken, and don't try to pass it off as unopened.

Return it. The figure had a legitimate defect and you shouldn't be expected to pay for that.

Sorry Nomad but the way mine broke just like the OP's there is no way to fix. Parts too thin to peg and it's a pivot point and again too thin superglue would only be a temp fix before it would break again.

It's just a plan and simple case of bad plastic... Shame, I liked this guy.

The GDO Cliff I purchased did the same thing right out of the package. I thought it was just me but having looked around I see it is a common problem. The plastic felt soft to me. Now I'm glad I never transformed my SDCC version. At least I can pop the grill back on for now in bot mode.

I returned my GDO cliff because of the same thing and it was missing one of his black feet. They took it back no problem. I wanted to exchange it cuz I thought maybe i ran into a bad production one, but looks like they are all that way. Anways, they were out so I ordered on off of TRU.com. Just will have to be gentle with this one.
