Thanks... Oh well, I'm in for this one. Ordered with AE and paid. It looks like a good couple of months are coming up, regarding Masterpieces.

From TFSource's FB page from July 8.

"Good news for those still wanting to add an Masterpiece Skywarp to their collection. MP-11SW Masterpiece Skywarp is being rereleased this September. Stay tuned for preorder updates."

It's also up for PO at Robot Kingdom though I hope I can snag one from TFS.

More than likely they don't ship to Serbia because they probly don't guarantee signatures on intl mail, which means that Paypal will side with the buyer if the package goes "missing." Blame your post office/govt, not AE.

Is this confirmed to be just a simply reissue or is there still a chance that there will be some changes to the figure? (I can always hope ;) )

Are you seriously suggesting that, I dunno, Bhutan, Chad, and Uzbekistan (all on the list) have better postal security than a country in the middle of Europe? Italy is on the list (near the top), and their postal system is notoriously unreliable. Same goes for Brazil.

More than likely, they had Yugoslavia or Serbia & Montenegro on the list and when the name changed they neglected to update it.

Sighs...wish they would just make a better MP seeker mold instead of just rehashing the same crap we've been getting for years now.

I didn't mean it in an insulting way. Brazil was removed for a year or so because their postal carriers weren't getting signatures more than 80% (or whatever it is). All the international post offices have deals in place with SLAs and if a particular one doesn't meet its SLA it gets pulled.

(SLA = service level agreement, pretty standard in most industries)

LOL, looks like ordering from BBTS will turn out to be cheaper than ordering from the likes of AE. When shipping is factored in.

that is usually the case with ttm exclusives as they don't offer discounts on those. it applies to all lines they carry, not just transformers. they basically buy it themselves then mark it up a little for profit...like how bbts does with any exclusives

Might be about right though hard to say. TT Mall's price translates into roughly $145. I'm not entirely convinced that shipping would be $45 but with the yen's rise it could be. Ramjet came to about $180 from TTMall when the yen was weaker so this may very well be an accurate price.

It comes in a brown box which was way larger than the actual box if you order from takara tomy mall. Tenso will not open the box and just slap on a label and ship it. You're looking at shipping around the 5000 yen mark when you factor in tensos fee and Japan post cost. The best deal for anyone in north America is through bbts

I'm so damn tired of seeing this mold at prices over $175. When it can be sold at US retail for $80 or less, why is it so expensive in Asia? It has been milked to death, and it is flawed in so many ways. I'm seriously considering selling everything I have that uses this mold. I'm guessing Maketoys seekers will be superior and more reasonably priced.

I understand the price is high on these MP figures, especially when they're exclusives, but if too many people buy KO's instead of the official, the KO companies will end up with nothing to KO.

I'm curious how much the sales of MP figures have declined due to KO and 3rd party.

How flawed can it be if you've bought more than 1 of that mold?

The fandom has proven time and again it will buy official when official is available and when it is superior. People bought iGear Ironhide and Ratchet because there were no official versions. As soon as official ones hit, the iGear products were all over ebay for low prices because the official ones were better. Had Takara simply gotten serious about MP sooner, that entire situation would have been avoided. Inferno is an example of official product being announced prior to 3P hitting the market. Tons of people, myself included, canceled 3P pre-orders in favor of the official MP. All Takara has to do is make the product and make it better. Any sales they lose by not doing so are their own fault.
