It's probably going to cost in the $180-$200 range...

 

Same price they are asking for that Predaking. Might be a little bit more if it is limited to 2010 sets (or 4020 sets including Asia edition).

 

All logic points to it being Masterpiece Rodimus Prime.

 

Please say Fortress maximus and if takara did, I would stop collecting, well everything after TF,MOTUC that is.

 

I thought Rodimus was a 2011 regular release and not part of the 2010 promotion. No?

 

So you collect and redeem 10 points and you get that sound stage? Is that basically a display platform?

 

Well, it's hard to see all of the characters in the "Transformers: Museum" pic, but there are many different incarnations of Prime on there, then you have Rodimus, then in the upper right corner, you have Fortress Maximus.

Surely it's a coincidence, but one can hope.  

 

If you look at the show model, Waspinator does have those metallic parts on the side of his insect head. The Takara-Tomy version is not less accurate.

 

I would really be schocked if they did a fort max.
I couldn't even begin to think of what the price tag would be 800-900?

Dead centre you've of course got Generation 1 Optimus Prime / Convoy.

Strange there is no recognition for Car Robots, Beast Wars Second or Beast Wars Neo, since they all had TV shows. Also (probably intentional) but you've got the Cybertron / Galaxy Force version of Cybertron in the background. That's probably because it is the one released in toy form and there's a Primus reissue around the corner.

All in all, I prefer the version shown on the back of the Primus box for an all-leaders group shot, because that recognised BWII, Neo, Car Robots and even Beast Machines.

 

Can we get a translation on that animated black optimus page? I'd like to know the truth on the numbers of that guy.

 

I hope at least Japan gets Fugitive Wasp... I need it, and will import if necessary!

 

I'm not seeing any difference between Takara and Hasbro Rodimus.

 

I'm going with TA-33 being more maroon and more metallic (shiny) on top of that. It's looking pretty close though...
