With the way the MP has been over the last several, the opposite seems to be true. I'd actually like to see some basic/ straightforward transformations again

 

Now that my Dinobot has been shipped, this will be me at the mailbox.

 

I hate you all. I can’t drop this kinda cash on a toy at the moment. But when I have a little extra to burn, you know I will.

So, it took me going back and forth one time to fully appreciate how good this figure really is. (minus minor nitpicks like the ankle pins...but its easily avoidable with proper posing, the stand, and/or a bunch of Future.)

But I digress....

Dinobot is a great toy.

 

Now I have not read all the posts, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed that dinobot had an about crunch... Cause he sure does.

 

Holy fuck he's amazing.

He's HUGE. And he looks amazing in both modes. The raptor head especially oozes character, but then the robot faces do as well. This feels like a Masterpiece in every sense of the word.

Also, I thought for sure the robot mode elbows would suck. But the shape of the dino feet and rear bicep covers actually makes the elbows function just fine. (though the feet do stick out if you fully bend them)

 

It's a little one but you can see his abdomen rise when he uses it from the side.
Didn't have a lot of trouble posing in bot mode the ankles have stops, if you are aware of them it's making posing him alot easier.

 

You can actually pop it out all the way so he can almost Bend in half actually.

 

Me, seconds ago:

"Pffft, there's no fuckin' ab crunch. There's no room! It'd have to be right-"

Is it just me or does that look like jobby to any one else?

 

Best part: I'm in Canada, so I can (and will) legally marry this toy.

No, no, no. That would be silly. So he has a hinge joint on his ab area (front). On his back is where the mechanisim sorta clicks in place. With it clicked in you will get the tiniest amount of crunch, but if you pop it out it will hinge much further.

 

I found a local guy selling Dinobot for $330 Canadian, I've never considered paying this much for a figure before, but man I'm loving this guy so far. Would you guys say it's a good deal to pick him up?
