    At least it's an easily accessible hinge joint. Even if it does loosen up, a small dab of floor polish on the underside will fix it right up.

    Why would it be soft plastic?

    That'd be, what, the first MP to use soft plastic at all? And why for the main body?

    That's such a random concern that came from nowhere.

    Personally I'm not at all worried about how the figure looks from the back.. I also can't help but wonder if his back can be further compressed. Something I definitely look forward to tinkering with once I get mine in hand. But certainly not a deal breaker.

    That's what mine is before shipping... 21353 after shipping though, I think.

    I don't think that back is getting any more compressed unless you just start partsforming. Not to mention that Dinobot's back/side pieces don't seem to have any room to allow for a cleaner back, even if the parts stuffed in his torso were removed.

    Flush. Where everything lines up a little better is what I was going for.

    out of curiosity I was wondering should I buy dinobot from hlj or amazon japan? and if amazon japan is not directly selling the figure at the time is it okay to order from another seller that is not amazon? just curious.

    Yes. No Takara MPs are really released in the west by Hasbo except for the MPM figures.

    Hasbro in general are kinda gunshy about releasing Masterpiece toys in the west, mainly due to their much higher price when compared to most retail Transformers toys. They had a golden opportunity to localize Primal back in 2016 for Beast Wars 20th anniversary and never took it, which leads me to believe they have no intentions of localizing any of them, especially in a post-toys 'r us world.
