anyone who is familiar with BW knew that 'in scale Dinobot' meant 'fucking huge'. he is a seriously beefy boy

wait till they do Megatron tho, you ain't seen nothing yet. he it gonna be gigantic

but yeah dudes, size + electronics + intricate paint job + complex engineering, is the MP-36 price making sense yet? sure does to me

^ This, at least imho. I know it remains a point of contention and I totally respect that. I wish he cost less, too. But to me this is reasonable. He's immense and packed with engineering and bits.

And can I just say... DAMN he looks great on that stand! And I still LOVE how they packed articulation into his tail/shield/thing.

Nah, no asshole tone intended in my post.
But with more and more people ordering from Japan for their Japanese toys with issues being few and far between; well... There's a super great alternative to overpaying at stateside retail that most seem to complain about lol

    This dude knows ;)

I feel like they're a good alternative to buying stateside mass release figures (and even some 3rd party) compared to driving around all day wasting time and gas, but several of the Japanese websites offer equivalent customer service as BBTS.

Amazon Japan is extremely easy to deal with when it comes to faulty or flawed products and getting a replacement, and IIRC at no extra cost to you as a consumer.

The general consensus is "them overseas folks is pirates" and it's untrue. There are a few that are difficult to deal with, but at the end of the day a couple hours of research will save you money, and you'll rest easy knowing you'll be taken care of in an unforseen circumstance.

@Type-R Thanks for posting those photos!
Dinobot keeps looking better and better!

Man this puts into perspective the scale differences between BWs and G1s, right? A 12" / 30cm disc as big as the windscreen of a Countach! :lol

I really like that golden disc accessory (still haven't seen it in the show yet).

Curious does anyone have any photos of MP-32 next to MP-1? That scale might work pretty well.

The golden disc is actually in the very first episode, like 3-4 minutes into it.

Ah no way how did I miss that? haha, I just rewatched it :lol

Thanks man! I imagine it'll feature a little more prominently later on? Still an awesome accessory to have Dinobot fling into the spaceship!

Oh yes, it'll feature much, much more prominently. However, that scene in the first episode, despite being brief and easy to miss, is still decently important as otherwise you'll be like "where did this thing come from?"

How far are you now? Still only watched 10?
