$270 for the figure plus between $35-$40 for shipping. That's in Australian dollarydoo's and it's the price my private seller that I use has given me. All he asked for was a $50 AUD deposit that I handed him the other day, if that sounds like a deal you can live with I could give you his details. I've got a lot of MP's off him and he even helped me resolve an issue with a factory miss-assembled figure, getting me replacement parts free of charge.

So it's 50 dollars now and then 8 months to save about another $260

 

Just finished episode 10 of Season 1. Nice character development for Dinobot, the plant by the bedside - nice touch.

His smiling face is also spot on.

 

His back looks ugly though with the dino arms sticking out like that. I wonder if they'll find a way to make the back sit full flush and completely hide the dino arms.

 

They're not really "sticking out" though. Just kinda visible through the gaps.

 

If this is your first time through the series, enjoy! It really is worth it!

 

I think you are gonna have to accept some sacrifices even in the robot mode with Dinobot.

 

This isn’t actually beast wars related but it fits this particular moment quite well. “Without sacrifice there could be no victory” this is my quote when it comes to beast wars masterpieces, anyways I still think he looks amazing, I’m still staring at the pictures saved on my phone I’m just so Impatient.

 

For me a BW Grimmy repaint would sell me on this mold. plus, Takara has done some pretty expensive repaints like EVA Prime or the upcoming Grand Max, so I don't see why Dinobot would be special. we haven't seen a Cheetor repaint still, but I kind of doubt they would use the mold just once. I'd expect a Shadow Panther exclusive at one point or another.

 

I would expect a Cheetor repaint after Dinobot, and around the same time as the next new mold announcement. So, summerish, my expectation is black Cheetor announced along with a Rattrap or Waspinator announcement. Something to slobber over for a few months and something to dream about for a year or so, unless they do a fast-track on the next new mold. Highly doubtful, but one can dream.

 

Man, I kinda hate Masterpiece Beast Wars. I mean, I love them, but I have so much anticipation for Dinobot that I don't know how I'm going to remain in this constant state of anticipation waiting for the next image of that next figure... Waiting to see Masterpiece Megatron, Blackarachnia, Rattrap, Inferno.... waiting to see those first images, waiting for the coloured images... the wait can get so excruciating.

Part of me just wants Takara to just announce the rest of the cast tomorrow with pictures and everything, sell it to me for $1 so I can afford it and be done with it.

But if I'm honest, the rest of me would just be sad it's all over.

What I'm really trying to say is... I have many mixed feelings about having to wait for Dinobot.
