Yup. I'm gonna have to wait for the KO. It's not a matter of it being too expensive, it's a matter of it not being enough for the price tag. I'm not paying that unnecessary price hike.

IN MY OPINION (AND JUST MINE), looks like it's going to be the best MP so far yet.

Our real problem with the scale it's that we judge it by how it was in our perception, than how it actually was, there's a little information related to any official scale.

 

Because it not GEEWUN! There does seem to be a lot of annoying people there who can't stand sharing the line with other fans...

 

A chunk of the fandom hates Beast Wars, not a big chunk but a vocal one. Mix that with their "precious" '84 Masterpiece line and you get a ton of bitching, have been since they announced their first non '84 MP.

 

Fair point. I guess from a regular bw fan or non-bw fan perspective,it would look like takara is stealing $. But I stand by my points.I do not think the "entitlement" should be defended. You don't have to whine about the price over and over again. You don't have to keep saying that takara should lower the price(if they did,that'd be great).

I guess it all comes down to opinions but seriously...? Whatever lol. The 8 hour sleep turned me passive again I guess cause I don't feel like debating with people anymore. Though if you still have points,i'd be happy to hear'em.

Just out of curiosity, has any other Masterpiece ever gotten a "hype video" like Dinobot?

 

Cool for the fans. Looks a little too plain for me, however. Dinobot's design needed something to make it unique. That's a problem with most of the BW designs, as they were too humanoid and didn't have enough kibble hanging off.
It's interesting how everyone was begging to get a MP Dinobot, no matter the cost. Now, here we are with images of the official figure, and everyone says "it's too expensive". Did you think such engineering would be cheap? Even though I'm not a fan of the MP designs,
save for Rhinox and Rattrap, the very fact they were able to pull it off this well is amazing. And congrats to them for not sacrificing the robot mode for the beast mode. Too many figures here lately have sacrificed too much for their alt-modes (TR Hot Rod, CW Groove, etc.).
