Goddamnit, why do all the best movie decos have to be the insanely expensive/hard to get ones from the other side of the world?

 

the same effort they are doing to get the deluxe leadfoot and deluxe DOTM soundwave stateside...you know NONE (which sucks considering leadfoot does appear in the movie and it was a golden opportunity)

I was hoping this would get a retail release, but still happy it's coming out after all in some fashion.

 

And my hopes of a release of the Leadfoot mold rise just a little bit, with all these canceled toys coming out on the Movie Advanced. I'm really pissed off with just two wreckers and one really bad (do I need to specify it's Roadbuster?).

 

He has Matrix head. I wonder if they opened him up to light their darkest hour and that's why he's not in this new film.

I would like to get my hands on this...seriously why couldn't this have been mainline like Darkside Soundwave/Soundblaster?

 

At least it *IS* coming out. Sure its not $9.97 at your local Wal-Mart, but at least this tooling is getting released in SOME capacity -- rather than being condemned to the precious few pre-production samples that snuck out years ago. People will be able to buy this thing.

You can either enlist a middleman to hook you up, or wait for BBTS, TFSource, CP, Toy Dojo, and all the other retailers to put it up for pre-order.

Keep in mind, Arms Micron Terrorcon Bumblebee was an AEON store exclusive as well and the floor on the price of that figure collapsed out from under it pretty hard. Though, I can't remember if Terrorcon 'Bee had the limited pre-order window that EX Wheeljack has.

...also, if the picture is anything to go by, it looks like this version won't be coming with any of the plethora of accessories the original DOTM release did. Which would be a shame, considering the exclusivity and the increased cost.

 

Gawd..... Like a lot of you, I'd been hoping this would turn up in the Takara main line but now as a store exclusive it'll probably cost a small fortune.

 

My bad. I was so excited that I skipped that part. Well, you can still import it through a middle man such as Yokatta Shopping.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't SOMETHING to do with this mould. I'm sure there are plenty of things it could be, but logically, it doesn't seem like there are many other choices that fit, especially keeping in line with what's already been done.

I bought Terrorcon Bumblebee (past Aeon exclusive) from robotkingdom at retail price. Though their shipping is high and they charge as soon as you place your order, I recall the total was no different from getting one from Japan...no middleman fee. I know it's till quite expeisive compared to Hasbro retail price for the people in the US, though. I'm going to wait to see if rk will carry this one.
Most of Japan "store exclusives" such as TRU Japan and TakaraTomy Mall exclusives are readily available at Asian retailers. Since around the time of Henkei Dark Skyfire release, TakTom has changed their marketing strategy and releasing their exclusives to Asian market.

Only exception I can think of now are Million Publishing exclusives such as Artfire and maybe campaign microns. Also I assume eHobby exclusives will have to be obtained through the Collectors' Club store since they have a partnership deal.

 

Oh god, I NEED this.
