Maybe the BTA Black Convoy is being changed to Ultra Magnus. Would explain why it aplies to both. Black Convoy would probably be added to the regular BT line for the Con version of the mold.

 

Was that comment really necessary? Just because I prefer to buy Alternators doesn't mean I slam the Binaltech ones. My Alternators are hardly crappy and unpainted.

I agree with most people by saying that Trailbreaker would be a better choice. Also it would be fun if they put Trailbreaker going after swindle for stealing his body design in the storyline lol

Moledive, Blender and Armbullet weren't offered and then cancelled. Meanwhile over the years dozens of toys Takara has cancelled HAVE come out, just a month later.

One thing to remember is that the prices of these two were higher than normal - if that's a typo on the order for Takara will have to cancel them and resolicit it. It really could be just that simple.

Remember how last month you were posting on how the Collection series was cancelled Nevermore? Or how the month before that you were posting that Binaltech was cancelled? Or the all the times you've posted Alternators was cancelled?

Means nothing, the company is in a bit of a mix up at the moment with the merger and things are getting shuffled around. Transformers and the BTs make the company money and is unlikely to be cancelled at this stage, being postponed is not a suprise given the companies position.

 

Plausible, but that wouldn't explain the BTA. Unless they're changing that to Magnus like someone else suggested.

Either way, if it really cancelled I hope Hasbro can pull a head-swap at least and make it Ironhide or someone else.

 

You know, I actually wouldn't be dissapointed in this case if they would simply give him Alt/BT Swindle's head, colored him black and called him Trailbreaker...I mean, since we're getting a corrected Sunstreaker and all.

Since Alternators doesn't have a story. I wouldn't mind that in the least. I'd prefer Ironhide over Trailbreaker anyway.

 

I think it's really stupid of Takara to say that a truck wouldn't sell. What honestly makes them think this? Aren't there trucks in Japan? Don't people who like Transformers buy Transformers for the idea of transformation, not because it's X, Y, or Z mode? If that's the case, wouldn't people not buy RID Wild Ride because it's an SUV? Or not get Jetfire because they don't like space shuttles?

It just doesn't make sense.

 

No, I don't beleive they have Dodge Rams which is why they were reluctant to use this licence in the first place. I believe that's what Archer said at BotCon, KD or TT or someone else that was there should be able to confirm.

 

I'm with you on this. I don't get the logic on the whole thing. I mean, we don't have wierd looking spaceships here, and we buy stuff like C. Sideways and C. Soundwave. It just makes no sense, I mean I doubt the realistic car toy collectors in Japan aren't making the line a huge success on their own.

 

30 years of experience in the Japanese toy industry would be my guess.

 

Don't get me wrong on this. I wouldn't mine seening a Trailbreaker or Ironhide as a Dodge Ram but I could also see a Gears as a Dodge Ram. So what about Gears???
