Nice historical stuff! Though odd, I assumed in 1984, Takara would market Transformers, not Diaclone. Didn\'t they release them that year in Japan too?
What are those weird superdeformed planes/cars?
And huh, cute, Godzilla and Gamera-themed transforming watches, pity those were never made.
Microman Blockman, I know those in Europe as Revell\'s Robotech Changers, I have most of them.

What is that blue not-Megatron under pre-Perceptor?

Kinda love those Godzilla & Gamera Kronoform watches. Did those ever actually get produced?

(seems like the Gamera one did, at the very least)

As a kid I lost my Laserbeak to a common broken neck. MC-16 in silver chrome became my Laserbeak! I dont know if the one I had as a kid was legit or a knock off but dam I loved that bird! I managed to track down a couple now that I'm older and he and Browning are a couple of my most treasured figures!

Then a few years back I ran across this guy who has the same transformation/engineering but smaller and with alternate accessories. I forget what line it was, might have even been official TFs.

Anyway, all that just to say that those little orb-bots hold a very special place in my heart!

Anyone have any idea what Anguirus and Red King might be for in the 6th image? Hope whoever wins this auction will post some full scans.

Good times. When toys were made with fun in mind first. I miss those days.

Bandai also makes a line like this but they are more egg shaped. Here's their Godzilla.

Y'know, just seeing these really shows you how far the franchise has come over the years

1985 when Takara marketed them as TFs.

Might as well trash the Volkswagen aka the peoples car and the autobahn and celphone.
