because its anime accurate. not toy accurate. Im totally OK with this. After all it's the first official Greatshot toy since 1989!!

I decided to cancel my Grand Max preorder - just don't have room for him - but if they did a Brave Max I'd make room for that.

Still looking forward to Greatshot. Any day now!

Clonedroids is FAR more cartoon accurate then MMC's. Clonedroids has a cartoon accurate headsculpt (which MMC is g1 toy inspired), better Rhino head(which MMC just reused the rhino head from their Tantrum from the Feral Rex/Predaking set), accurate chest design AND swords(which MMC just repackaged their cleavers)! And Clonedroids can be found for $10 less than MMC's

Well, I've gone for Greatshot. He's less pricey, and he's got some extensive retooling. I'll also be giving mine the giant sword that came in one of the Perfect Effect Ginrai upgrade sets, so that should make a nice contrast with Legends Sixshot and the Dr Wu swords to make an Autobot Samurai vs Decepticon Ninja type of theme..

No, but if I were a betting man, I'd say the 2 foot tall $260 titan repaint will be sticking around at places like BBTS for awhile so it would be safer to wait on him.

Greatshot Imo. Those new retooled parts alone are totally worth every single penny.

Damn I love the way Greatshot looks and the rhino head is awesome but 90 bucks is quite the gut punch.

Why cant I ever be happy with the basic mass release versions and not always be so tempted by a snazzy new coat of paint?!  :D

Its just not a new paint job fyi. New head master. New chest with pheonix sigil. New beast rhino head. Oh please. If you are such a cheapskate then dont say its just a high end repaint mmmkay?
Cant afford 90 bucks? Too bad.

The problem is that there is a lot of good stuff coming out pretty much all at once, right now. I've prioritised Greatshot because I doubt we'll get another version of him any time soon. If he'd been a simple recolour, I would have thought twice about the cost. However, the additional changes to the Sixshot mold make getting Greatshot more worthwhile for me.

I'm not actually a big fan of Greatshot as character, but I like the look of the toy, and I was hoping we'd get a Star Saber to go with him, eventually.

Yeah. That's a real bummer. Guess I'll buy an extra Prime Master to paint up.

That greatshot figure looks awesome! But isn't it the same character as Sixshot? Or Sixknight?

But then there's the fact that Grand is limited to less than 3000 pieces. Greatshot might sell better as an impulse buy but I think there's going to be a lot more of him to go around.

Yes. No reason to think otherwise, unfortunately.

Nope, sixshot, sixknight, quick switch and great shot are all separate characters. Though sixshot and great shot share a voice actor, supplementary material clarifies they are different characters and nothing in victory ever really attempts to make the case that they are
