I've seen Starwars figures, but not Transformers before. Toys R Us (Lalaport, Funabashi, Chiba, Japan) had Bayverse BB and OP. They seemed diecast, with no articulation. Not my cup of Ruby, but maybe others are interested?

 

Oh yeah, I remember seeing these revealed about a year ago. I might pick Optimus up if I see him.

 

These are the Metal Collection figures. They are really small, like 2 inches tall. Diecast fixed legs and rubber arms and heads. They do Star Wars and Marvel characters and seem to be adding movie TFs and Evangelion. Pretty expensive for how small they are. Like 1000 yen each.

As for actual Tomicars, I think they only made Optimus and Bumblebee in alt mode.
